Service Line Sales Specialist - Cybersecurity Solutions & Services
About the Role
As a Service Line Sales Specialist - Cybersecurity Solutions & Services, you will make an impact by driving revenue growth, building cybersecurity pipeline opportunities, and helping clients strengthen their security posture through innovative cybersecurity solutions and services. You will be a valued member of the Cybersecurity Service Line team and work collaboratively with account teams, sales leaders, solution architects, delivery teams, and strategic technology partners.
In This Role, You Will:
- Drive cybersecurity sales growth and pipeline generation across existing and prospective client accounts.
- Partner with account teams to identify, qualify, shape, and close cybersecurity opportunities.
- Position and articulate Cognizant's cybersecurity services portfolio, including consulting, professional services, and managed security services.
- Enable and educate sales teams on cybersecurity offerings, industry trends, and client challenges.
- Develop compelling client presentations, proposals, business cases, and commercial models to support complex sales pursuits.
- Build trusted relationships with security leaders and executive stakeholders to help address evolving cybersecurity risks and business priorities.
- Collaborate with global delivery and solution teams to design innovative cybersecurity solutions that meet client needs.
- Support large-scale managed services, digital transformation, and IT outsourcing engagements where cybersecurity is a critical component.
- Travel as needed to support client engagement and business development activities.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Proven experience in cybersecurity sales, solution consulting, professional services, managed security services, or related technology sales roles.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Operations, Threat Management, Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Cloud Security.
- Experience collaborating with account teams to develop and close complex technology and cybersecurity opportunities.
- Knowledge of leading cybersecurity technologies and platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, or similar vendors.
- Experience developing proposals, statements of work, pricing models, and executive presentations for client engagements.
- Ability to communicate complex cybersecurity solutions and value propositions to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience building relationships with senior executives and cybersecurity decision-makers within large enterprise organizations.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills in a matrixed environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent cybersecurity credentials.
- Experience supporting large-scale managed services, security transformation, or IT outsourcing engagements.
- Experience working with global delivery teams and distributed solution organizations.
- Understanding of current cybersecurity market trends, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements.
- Master's degree in a related field.
