IT/OT Project Manager

00070256562

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT/OT Project Manager to work from an offshore location, driving the end-to-end planning, governance, and delivery of combined Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) initiatives for manufacturing, retail, and banking/financial services clients. The ideal candidate is a PRINCE2-certified practitioner with a strong background in Infrastructure, cloud migration/transformation, and production support service delivery, who can bridge traditional IT project management discipline with OT/ICS domain awareness, drive multi-tower (L1–L3) support governance, and partner with Sales, Partner/OEM, and cross-functional IT&D/Cyber/Supply teams to deliver outcomes within scope, effort, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

IT/OT Project & Program Delivery

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT/OT projects (fit-gap assessments, infrastructure upgrades, remediation, migrations, cybersecurity hardening) across manufacturing sites and enterprise environments, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.

• Develop and maintain project charters, project plans, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and governance cadence for each engagement, in line with PRINCE2 methodology.

• Drive site/factory fit-gap analysis, BOM and LLD sign-offs, and cutover/rollback planning in collaboration with partner teams, IT&D platform teams, Cyber, and Supply/Operations teams.

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of offshore/onshore engineers, architects, and third-party vendors/OEMs, tracking milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.

Infrastructure, Cloud & OT/ICS Governance

• Lead Infrastructure projects, data center decommissioning, and cloud migration/transformation initiatives (AWS, Azure) across on-prem and hybrid environments.

• Govern OT High-Level and Low-Level Design (HLD/LLD) activities in alignment with ISA-95, the Purdue Model, and IEC 62443 standards, overseeing network segmentation and OT/IT convergence activities.

• Oversee EOL hardware retirement, OS/software upgrades, network device refresh, and server migration programs, performing impact analysis to ensure minimal disruption to BAU operations.

• Support vulnerability management, patch governance (including Linux/database patching compliance), and remediation planning in coordination with security SMEs.

Service Delivery & Production Support Management

• Own service delivery of multi-tower (L1–L3) support teams spanning Infrastructure support, Help Desk, Desk-side support, Digital Workplace services, and Application support for Retail and Banking/Financial customers.

• Manage service delivery of support teams as per contractual terms (SLAs/KPIs), leading Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes and chairing major incident bridges to resolution.

• Drive Service Transition and Service Operations activities, including onboarding of new services, resource transition planning, and knowledge/documentation handover for steady-state support.

• Lead Continual Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives – automation, cross-skilling, shift-left/shift-right, and LEAN methodologies – to improve NPS/CSAT scores and optimize team sizing and margins.

Stakeholder, Vendor & Financial Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for client program/project stakeholders, IT&D leadership, and business sponsors, providing regular status reports on progress, risks, and financials.

• Partner with Sales teams to define solutions, resource requirements, transformation opportunities, and productivity improvement ideas for Infrastructure managed services and IT/OT deals.

• Manage vendor/OEM/partner relationships and SDM reviews, ensuring SLA adherence and driving corrective action plans for service quality gaps.

• Own budget management for the engagement – estimates, forecasts, change requests, and cost-optimization opportunities (e.g., license optimization, device refresh) – through the appropriate SOW/SO governance process.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certified, with 15+ years of managerial experience delivering projects within defined scope, effort, and budget.

• 24+ years of overall IT experience, including 15+ years of onshore experience at customer locations (e.g., UK, Europe, APAC), and proven experience managing offshore delivery teams.

• Strong experience leading Production Support teams for Financial and Retail customers, and improving margins through continuous service improvement and service delivery excellence.

• Demonstrated experience managing Infrastructure projects, cloud migration, and transformation programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Experience managing service delivery of support teams (up to 80+ headcount) as per contractual terms, spanning Infrastructure support, Help Desk, Desk-side support, Digital Workplace, and Application support.

• Experience partnering with Sales teams on solutioning, resourcing, and transformation opportunities for Infrastructure managed services deals.

• Working knowledge of OT/ICS technologies and concepts (SCADA, DCS, PLC, HMI, MES, Purdue Model/ISA-95) and OT cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, NIST) is highly desirable for IT/OT convergence engagements.

• Excellent stakeholder management, vendor management, and people management skills, with strong verbal/written communication and a fast learner's approach to new tools and technologies.
