Role Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Define, document, and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses for cloud platforms.
- Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate, select, and recommend cloud security tools and technologies.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance frameworks, including CMMC, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Lead investigation and response to cloud security incidents and breaches.
- Provide security architecture guidance and enablement to technical and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 7–11 years of experience in cloud security, enterprise architecture, or related disciplines.
- Deep expertise in cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native and enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience securing containerized and cloud-native workloads.
- Proven ability to design secure, scalable cloud environments aligned to business and compliance needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud security certifications such as CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or CISSP.
- Experience with multi-cloud security governance and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to define cloud security strategies and incident response models at an enterprise level.
Work Model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in our office in Blue Ash, Ohio.
