Role: ServiceNow Developer

Location: London/Leeds/Exeter
Job Summary
Within an Agile methodology framework, the developer is responsible for working alongside and supporting to optimise and streamline business processes. They should analyse technical development requirements and implement architectural changes and solutions (based on ServiceNow technologies) working closely with the QA resources to ensure quality. This is in addition to finding opportunities to automate, innovate as well as to future proof initiatives with minimal disruption.
Key Responsibilities
Understand business requirements and provide relevant technical solutions based on ServiceNow capabilities.
Create POC for business requirements and validate technical solutions before deployment.
Create solutions which streamline business processes.
Understand complex regulatory frameworks and the client's organisational dynamics Translate or extend the service proposition across digital and non-digital channels.
Implement best practices in coding and design as per ServiceNow standards and community guidelines.
Tackle architectural changes, integrations, and new module implementation.
Reporting and dashboards set up.
Essential Skills
Proven extensive experience of ServiceNow as a platform.
Proven excellent understanding of ServiceNow capabilities.
Experience of development within UK public sector and/or regulatory environment.
Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and Customer Service Management (CSM).
Experience with ServiceNow configuration and customisation.
Delivered ServiceNowAssist capabilities within ITSM and CSM.
Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and relevant stakeholders.
Nice to Have Skills
Agile knowledge.
Qualifications
Relevant ServiceNow Certifications (e.g. Certified…… ) / CSM, ITSM, etc
Travel Requirements
Required to be in Leeds, London & Exeter UK as required for quarterly PI planning and occasional in person workshops, will include some overnight stays.
