Job Summary
The Master Data Template Rollout Support TRS acts as the SME for the MDG ST (Master Data Governance Shared Template) solution within their Master Data domain (Material Customer Vendor Finance) in the MDG Core delivery team. This role ensures the effective deployment and adoption of the global ST solution bridging between the MDG core delivery team and local deployment teams.
Responsibilities
The TRS supports the localization of CRUD processes drives standardization and contributes to continuous improvement of the global ST solution. In the deployment team he brings his technical expertise on MDG and covers technical activities he works closely with the Master Data rollout analyst who is more functional.
Key Responsibilities 1. Expertise and Knowledge Transfer Serve as the MDG ST expert for the assigned Master Data domain.
Transfer functional and technical knowledge of the MDG ST solution to deployment and local teams.
Explain Global CRUD processes defined in MDG including process definitions benefits constraints and configuration principles.
Document localized CRUD processes defined in MDG for the unit including process definitions benefits constraints and configuration principles.
Act as a trusted partner throughout implementation projects providing expert guidance and ensuring alignment with the MDG core delivery team. 2. Business Process and Requirements Alignment
Challenge and validate local requirements that deviate from the ST solution escalating only those critical to business operations and aligned with the DC strategy.
Support business process change management ensuring optimal use of the MDG ST solution across units.
Ensure that process documentation and configuration remain consistent with global ST design principles. 3. Implementation and Rollout Support
Control monitor all deployments aligned with deployment playbook.
Contribute to implementation planning and support all rollout phases from design and configuration to test and go-live.
Validate local functional specifications and configurations for interfaces and integrations when applicable.
Collaborate with the MDG core delivery team on the development of new functionalities validated by Data Council.
Ensure configuration is made and test MDG and S4 components as needed to support local operations.
Provide hands-on support to deployment teams during cutover and stabilization phases.
Support migration team for their Master Data domain. 4. Continuous Improvement and Global Collaboration
Participate in lessons-learned and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance future rollouts.
Contribute to global enhancements of the MDG ST solution ensuring it evolves with business and system requirements.
Adopt test and promote new ST functionalities in collaboration with the MDG core delivery team.
Support the governance and standardization of master data management processes across the enterprise. 5. Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with BTO domain lead data champions FEs data stewards deployment leads and technical teams to ensure smooth and aligned execution.
Communicate clearly across global and local teams to promote consistency transparency and best practices.
