Responsibilities : -Design and own end to end integration architectures that connect Oracle Xstore Point of Sale applications with enterprise systems using Spring Framework and Oracle Database technologies to enable reliable and timely data exchange across the organization. -Develop and maintain integration services and microservice components using Spring Framework to orchestrate retail transactions synchronization for inventory pricing promotions and customer data while ensuring strong transactional integrity and error handling. -Implement performant Oracle Database schemas packages and queries that support high volume point of sale integrations while optimizing data access patterns indexing strategies and resource utilization for predictable response times. -Coordinate with product owners solution architects and business analysts to translate complex integration requirements from merchandising finance and accounting stakeholders into detailed technical designs and implementation plans. -Review and optimize existing integration flows between Oracle Xstore Point of Sale and upstream or downstream systems by identifying bottlenecks refactoring inefficient logic and improving observability with structured logging and metrics. -Establish integration design standards guidelines and reusable patterns for message transformation validation exception management and idempotency to ensure consistent implementation quality across multiple delivery teams. -Collaborate with quality engineering teams to define test strategies test data sets and automated regression suites for integration scenarios focusing on transaction integrity reconciliation accuracy and graceful failure recovery. -Configure and support secure connectivity mechanisms including encryption authentication and role based access to protect sensitive payment and customer information flowing through integration channels in compliance with internal policies. -Provide production support for critical integration services by performing root cause analysis capacity assessment and defect remediation while maintaining clear communication with operations teams and business partners during incidents. -Document integration designs data mappings configuration parameters and operational runbooks in a structured and accessible manner so that support and engineering teams can efficiently troubleshoot and extend solutions. -Engage with stakeholders from merchandising finance and accounting domains to clarify data definitions posting rules and reconciliation requirements ensuring that integration solutions reflect accurate business semantics and downstream reporting needs. -Advise teams on effective use of Oracle Database features such as partitioning query tuning and connection management in the context of point of sale integration workloads to maintain stability during peak business periods. -Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new integration tools frameworks and design approaches that can simplify solution maintenance reduce defects and improve time to market for new store and enterprise capabilities. -Qualifications -Demonstrate strong hands on experience designing and building integration solutions centered on Oracle Xstore Point of Sale platforms including transaction flows tender handling and store side data synchronization. -Exhibit deep practical knowledge of Oracle Database technology and concepts such as relational modeling indexing query optimization and stored program units applied in high volume transactional integration scenarios. -Apply solid proficiency with Spring Framework for developing scalable back end integration services including dependency injection data access abstraction rest endpoints and robust exception handling. -Showcase understanding of retail domain processes especially merchandising price changes promotions and inventory movements to ensure that integration solutions accurately support store and head office operations. -Utilize exposure to finance and accounting concepts such as general ledger posting reconciliation and settlement to design integrations that preserve financial accuracy and auditability across systems. -Operate effectively in a hybrid work environment by using collaboration tools structured communication and clear documentation practices to align with distributed technical and business teams across regions. -Leverage eight to ten years of overall professional experience in integration development and architecture roles to make informed design decisions mentor peers and uphold high standards of reliability and maintainability. 9.
