Job Summary

This role supports revenue cycle management for life sciences clients by maintaining accurate operational data preparing performance reports and enabling planning activities using MS Excel MS Office and Anaplan Sales and Ops Planning. The specialist collaborates with cross functional teams in an office based and rotational shift environment to improve financial outcomes and operational transparency.


Responsibilities

  • Manage daily revenue cycle data capture and validation using structured spreadsheets in MS Excel to ensure accurate and timely financial insights across life sciences engagements.
  • Prepare standardized and ad hoc reports in MS Office that highlight revenue trends variances and operational bottlenecks to support informed decision making by stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update Anaplan Sales and Ops Planning models by loading datasets validating assumptions and aligning structures with current business processes.
  • Coordinate with operations and finance teams to reconcile billing collections and adjustments data ensuring end to end integrity across the revenue cycle.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as aging denial patterns and realization metrics and summarize findings in clear dashboards and presentations.
  • Support period end activities by compiling reconciled revenue cycle reports and documentation aligned to internal controls and client expectations.
  • Execute scenario analyses in Anaplan to evaluate the impact of demand pricing or process changes on revenue and working capital performance.
  • Document recurring issues in data quality or process execution and propose practical improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce rework.
  • Collaborate with technology and analytics partners to refine templates macros or simple automations in MS Excel that streamline repeatable tasks.
  • Respond to operational queries from internal teams by investigating data clarifying drivers and sharing clear explanations backed by evidence.
  • Adhere to rotational shift schedules while maintaining consistent service levels and timely completion of critical revenue cycle activities.
  • Apply company policies on data privacy and compliance especially for life sciences clients to protect sensitive financial and operational information.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing insights on patterns root causes and opportunities for better planning and execution.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate solid proficiency in MS Excel including functions pivot tables and data visualization to manage large revenue cycle datasets with accuracy.
  • Exhibit working knowledge of MS Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint to create clear documentation decks and status updates for stakeholders.
  • Show practical experience in Anaplan Sales and Ops Planning including model navigation data imports and basic configuration activities.
  • Display understanding of revenue cycle concepts such as billing collections adjustments and reporting within a service or life sciences context.
  • Communicate clearly in both written and spoken form to collaborate across teams and present complex data in an accessible manner.
  • Adapt effectively to rotational shifts and office based work requirements while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
  • Apply analytical thinking and problem solving skills to identify process gaps validate hypotheses and recommend feasible improvements.
