Job Summary
This hybrid day shift role is for a Technical Lead with eight to ten years of experience in JavaScript and React Js responsible for guiding complex application development ensuring high quality code delivery and collaborating with cross functional teams to build scalable digital solutions that support merchandising capabilities and enhance business outcomes for a global organization.
Responsibilities
Lead end to end design and implementation of front end solutions using JavaScript and React Js to deliver responsive and accessible applications that meet business needs and user expectations.Drive technical decision making for web application architecture by evaluating patterns and tools that improve scalability maintainability and performance across multiple projects and environments.Coordinate hybrid work collaboration across onsite and remote team members by organizing structured development activities that align to day shift schedules and ensure consistent progress on planned deliverables.Guide the team in applying modern JavaScript practices including modular coding patterns state management and asynchronous operations to create robust and efficient user interfaces.Review code contributions from engineers to maintain coding standards security practices and performance benchmarks while providing constructive feedback that raises overall technical quality.Oversee integration of React Js components with backend services and APIs by defining clear contracts data flows and error handling approaches that reduce production incidents and support reliable feature delivery.Collaborate with product and merchandising stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications ensuring that digital solutions enhance assortment visibility pricing strategies and promotion execution.Provide detailed effort estimations technical risk assessments and implementation plans that help project managers and stakeholders plan releases and allocate resources effectively.Monitor application performance in production through analytics logging and metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive focused optimization activities that improve response times and user satisfaction.Support secure development practices by promoting proper input validation session management and secure data handling within JavaScript and React Js code bases to protect customer and business information.Coordinate continuous improvement of development workflows by refining branching strategies code review practices and automated testing processes that increase delivery speed without compromising quality.Document key technical decisions patterns and component designs in a clear and reusable format so that future enhancements and onboarding activities are streamlined for the engineering team.Partner with quality specialists to define test strategies for React Js applications including unit component and integration testing that reduce defects and support confident production releases.
Qualifications
Apply deep practical expertise in JavaScript and React Js over eight to ten years of experience to architect clean reusable and well tested front end solutions suited for enterprise scale systems.Demonstrate strong understanding of modern web technologies including HTML CSS responsive design concepts and browser compatibility considerations that support high quality user experiences.Leverage experience in merchandising domain such as product catalog management pricing workflows and promotion handling to design features that align digital journeys with retail operations and customer expectations.Utilize knowledge of hybrid work models and collaborative tools to maintain effective communication code sharing and alignment across distributed team members in a multinational organization.Exhibit proficiency with version control and structured branching workflows to manage concurrent feature development and ensure traceable and reliable releases into production environments.Bring familiarity with automated build and deployment pipelines that support frequent and stable releases of JavaScript and React Js applications without the need for travel or off shift coverage.Show strong problem solving skills and attention to detail in analyzing defects performance issues and user feedback enabling timely corrective actions that improve system reliability and business value.
