About the Role

As a Facets Product Consultant – Technical, you will play a key role in delivering healthcare payer technology solutions that support our clients' business transformation initiatives. You will work closely with client business and IT stakeholders to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, develop applications, and ensure successful implementation across the software development lifecycle. This role requires a strong blend of healthcare domain expertise, Facets product knowledge, technical development skills, and client-facing consulting experience.

In This Role, You Will
Analyze business and technical requirements to design effective healthcare payer solutions aligned with client objectives.
Lead solution discussions with client business and IT teams to validate functional and technical requirements.
Design, develop, test, and implement custom applications and enhancements within the Healthcare domain.
Develop and maintain integrations, APIs, and web services supporting Facets and related healthcare platforms.
Create technical specifications, solution designs, and supporting project documentation.
Estimate project effort, timelines, resource requirements, and delivery milestones for development initiatives.
Monitor project execution, track progress against plans, and communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
Troubleshoot complex technical problems and provide timely resolution while escalating critical risks when needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, scalability, and successful delivery of solutions.
Work Model

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
Strong experience within the Healthcare IT industry, preferably supporting Healthcare Payer organizations.
Hands-on experience with TriZetto Facets, including:
Membership
Billing
Claims
Experience serving in a client-facing consulting or technical advisory capacity.
At least 2+ years of hands-on development experience with:
.NET Framework/.NET Technologies
SQL Development
Strong programming experience using:
Oracle Database
Microsoft SQL Server
Experience designing and developing web services, APIs, and system integrations.
Knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design, and development principles.
Experience with modern technologies including:
AWS Glue
Angular
Experience participating in medium to large-scale software development projects.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Visio.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with additional Facets modules, including:
Provider
Commissions
Experience with other TriZetto solutions, including:
QNXT
NetworX
CareAdvance
Elements
Knowledge of TriZetto Hosting Center architecture and operational processes.
Experience developing solutions using Python.
Experience with Kafka and event-driven integrations.
Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline creation and deployment automation.
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and modern software engineering practices.
Experience supporting healthcare payer digital modernization programs.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $120K - $137K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
