Job Summary
Consultant role focused on business monitoring process optimization and functional analysis within a hybrid work model supporting complex initiatives that span business analysis planning and design. The consultant will collaborate with cross functional teams to translate business needs into actionable solutions that improve efficiency reduce risk and strengthen decision making for insurance and related domains.
Responsibilities
- Drive detailed business monitoring activities to track operational performance identify emerging issues early and propose pragmatic corrective actions that measurably improve service quality and efficiency.
- Perform end to end business process reviews to map current workflows uncover bottlenecks and recommend streamlined future state processes that align with strategic business objectives.
- Lead structured risk and analysis tasks to identify operational financial and compliance risks quantify their potential impact and propose prioritized mitigation actions that support organizational resilience.
- Conduct comprehensive functional analysis to translate business needs into clear functional specifications ensuring that solution designs align with user expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver rigorous business analysis and planning support by preparing impact assessments effort estimates and phased implementation roadmaps that help stakeholders make informed investment decisions.
- Apply strong analysis and design skills to create conceptual and logical models process diagrams and supporting documentation that guide technology and operations teams through implementation.
- Collaborate closely with product technology and operations partners in a hybrid work environment to clarify requirements validate assumptions and resolve gaps through workshops and structured discussions.
- Prepare and present clear findings dashboards and narrative reports from monitoring and analysis activities to support data informed decisions by senior stakeholders and operational managers.
- Coordinate user acceptance validation activities by defining test scenarios from functional requirements and supporting business users as they validate that solutions meet their intended objectives.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing post implementation results capturing lessons learned and recommending enhancements that drive sustained operational and customer value.
- Engage with subject matter experts in life and annuities insurance when available to ensure that proposed business processes and functional solutions are compatible with industry standards and regulatory expectations.
- Document business rules non functional expectations and key assumptions with high clarity so that cross functional teams share a common understanding of scope constraints and success measures.
- Align day to day analysis activities with the broader organizational purpose by focusing on process changes and solution designs that enhance customer trust improve transparency and contribute to more secure financial outcomes for society.
Qualifications
- Offer between four and eight years of experience in business analysis roles with a strong focus on business monitoring structured analysis and solution design in complex environments.
- Demonstrate hands on expertise in business monitoring methods such as performance metric tracking variance analysis and issue management that support data informed operational decisions.
- Bring proven experience in business process assessment including process mapping gap analysis and redesign that leads to measurable gains in efficiency and quality.
- Show solid background in risk and analysis activities including identification assessment and documentation of operational and process risks along with practicable mitigation proposals.
- Provide strong functional analysis proficiency including writing unambiguous functional requirements use case descriptions and acceptance criteria that support predictable delivery.
- Display confident capabilities in business analysis and planning such as preparing business cases effort estimates and implementation plans that help stakeholders prioritize initiatives.
- Apply robust analysis and design techniques using standard modeling notations and documentation practices so that both business and technical partners can easily interpret solution intent.
- Preferably bring domain experience in life and annuities insurance with familiarity in policy administration claims and regulatory considerations to enrich process and requirements discussions.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats facilitating workshops and review sessions in hybrid settings while maintaining inclusive and respectful collaboration.
- Utilize strong problem solving critical thinking and stakeholder management skills to balance competing needs negotiate trade offs and maintain focus on high value outcomes.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include Certified Business Analysis Professional CBAP or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis CCBA or equivalent.
