Lead Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Lead Quality Engineer role in a hybrid work model focusing on designing and executing robust test automation frameworks using RestAssured Python and Selenium for complex enterprise applications. The role requires deep experience in quality engineering strong collaboration with cross functional teams and a focus on delivering reliable and scalable solutions that enhance customer and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive end to end quality engineering initiatives that ensure reliable delivery of complex enterprise solutions in alignment with organizational standards and customer expectations.
• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using RestAssured for API validation to ensure consistent verification of service reliability and performance across multiple environments.
• Develop robust test automation scripts in Python that support regression integration and functional testing while enabling high reusability and maintainability of test assets.
• Implement and optimize Selenium based automation suites to validate user interface flows and cross browser behavior for web applications with minimal manual intervention.
• Coordinate closely with product owners developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and design test strategies that reduce defects and accelerate release readiness.
• Establish and monitor key quality metrics such as defect leakage test coverage and automation execution stability to continuously improve release confidence and predictability.
• Guide test planning and execution activities for complex projects ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional integration performance and security scenarios.
• Develop and refine reusable test data management approaches that enable consistent and repeatable validation while reducing dependency on manual data preparation.
• Collaborate with teams working in provider related domains to validate business rules regulatory compliance aspects and critical workflows that directly impact end users and partners.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality engineering processes by adopting modern tools optimizing pipelines and simplifying workflows that enhance team productivity and product reliability.
• Create detailed defect reports with clear reproduction steps impact assessment and priority indicators enabling development teams to resolve issues efficiently and accurately.
• Coordinate execution of automated test suites in continuous integration pipelines ensuring rapid feedback on code changes and early detection of defects before production release.
• Mentor and coach team members on quality engineering best practices and automation techniques fostering a culture of accountability innovation and excellence in test practices.
• Partner with environment and DevOps teams to ensure test environments data and integration points are stable secure and representative of production like scenarios.
• Contribute to organizational knowledge repositories by documenting test strategies automation standards coding guidelines and troubleshooting approaches for long term reuse.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate extensive hands on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks using RestAssured for API testing and validation in complex enterprise ecosystems.
• Exhibit strong proficiency in Python programming including modular design reusable libraries and integration with automation tooling to build maintainable test suites.
• Apply expert level skills in Selenium based test automation for web applications including element management synchronization strategies and cross browser compatibility validation.
• Bring practical exposure to provider related functional domains including validation of workflows rules and compliance scenarios that directly support business and societal outcomes.
• Possess proven background in quality engineering spanning at least eighteen years with a focus on large scale systems structured testing practices and measurable quality improvements.
• Demonstrate ability to operate effectively in a hybrid work model by balancing onsite collaboration with remote productivity while maintaining strong communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Show familiarity with continuous integration tools and test reporting dashboards that provide transparent visibility into quality status and enable data driven decision making.

Certifications Required

ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer or equivalent advanced software testing certification is preferred for this role.
