Job Summary

Serve as a Principal SAP Solution Architect with deep expertise across SAP S/4HANA and the broader SAP ecosystem, shaping large-scale transformation programs for global clients in a hybrid work model with day shifts. Apply Cognizant GenAI tools and generative AI to design intelligent enterprise solutions that improve automation, user experience, operational efficiency, and compliance while ensuring seamless integration across business functions and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive SAP solution architectures that address complex client requirements across multiple geographies, business units, and business processes while aligning with enterprise standards, security requirements, and regulatory expectations.
• Develop end-to-end business process architectures spanning finance, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, sales, logistics, customer service, and human resources, ensuring optimized business operations and standardized global processes.
• Define SAP transformation roadmaps leveraging SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Business AI, SAP Analytics, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP IBP, SAP EWM, SAP Concur, and other SAP cloud solutions as appropriate to client needs.
• Lead enterprise-wide integration architecture across SAP and non-SAP applications, ensuring seamless data flows, process orchestration, master data consistency, and real-time business visibility.
• Design and guide implementation of end-to-end business process integrations including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, Record-to-Report, Hire-to-Retire, and other cross-functional value streams.
• Define enterprise architecture principles, governance frameworks, and solution standards that support scalability, maintainability, security, and business agility.
• Apply Cognizant GenAI tools and generative AI techniques to design intelligent assistants, knowledge management solutions, automation frameworks, predictive analytics, and copilots that enhance productivity and improve business decision-making.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable solution blueprints, architecture artifacts, integration specifications, and transformation strategies that can be effectively executed by delivery teams.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders, business leaders, enterprise architects, and delivery teams to align technology investments with business objectives and strategic transformation goals.
• Lead fit-gap assessments and solution workshops to evaluate standard SAP capabilities against legacy processes and define future-state architectures that minimize customization and maximize adoption of SAP best practices.
• Establish data architecture, master data governance, and information management strategies that enable high-quality business insights and support enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
• Define testing strategies, quality assurance frameworks, and solution validation approaches to ensure business processes, integrations, reporting, and compliance requirements are successfully delivered.
• Provide strategic guidance on AI-enabled and hybrid working models by establishing collaboration standards, architecture governance practices, and delivery methodologies that support globally distributed teams.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, architecture roadmaps, solution design documents, business cases, and risk assessments that clearly communicate architectural decisions, transformation benefits, and implementation considerations.
• Provide technical and functional leadership to solution teams, mentor architects and consultants, and contribute to SAP innovation initiatives, accelerators, and industry-specific transformation offerings.
  

Qualifications

• Develop descriptive guidance on mandatory technical skills by explaining how deep experience in Cognizant Gen AI tools and generative AI will be used to reimagine finance processes and create intelligent automation patterns.
• Explain how extensive expertise in S4 HANA controlling New GL accounts receivables cost center accounting and profit center accounting will support robust design of integrated ledgers allocation models and profitability reporting.
• Describe how proven experience in S4 HANA FI SD integration and FI MM integration will help build resilient order to cash and procure to pay flows that minimize reconciliation issues and support real time analytics.
• Articulate how familiarity with domain areas such as ebill invoice present and payment account management for acquirer payments acquirer and acquirer processor and billing and settlements will enhance solution relevance for financial services clients.
• Clarify how a background of twenty to twenty four years in large scale SAP and finance transformation programs will support effective engagement with senior stakeholders risk mitigation and value realization tracking.
• Highlight how experience in hybrid work environments day shift operations and distributed delivery models will ensure smooth collaboration consistent communication and stable support for global client teams.
• Emphasize that exposure to regulatory compliance internal controls and audit requirements in financial processes will help maintain strong governance data integrity and adherence to organizational policies across all solutions.
  

Certifications Required

• SAP Certified Professional or Specialist certification in SAP S/4HANA or relevant SAP solution areas.
• SAP Enterprise Architect certification.
• SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) certification.
• TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
• Recognized certification in Generative AI, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related emerging technologies.
