Data Migration Engineer – ADMS Series 6

About the Role
As a Data Migration Engineer, you will make an impact by supporting one of the most significant ADMS Series 6 transformation programs in Europe. You will be a valued member of our Energy & Utilities Technology team and work collaboratively with ADMS specialists, utility stakeholders, data architects, and integration teams to migrate and consolidate critical utility network data into a unified ADMS Series 6 environment.
This role is part of a major grid modernization initiative involving the consolidation of multiple utility systems into a single operational platform. Whether you are an early-career engineer with experience in data migration and ETL development or a seasoned professional with utility industry expertise, this is an opportunity to work on technology that supports safe, reliable, and efficient grid operations.
In this role, you will:
• Execute data migration activities from multiple source systems into a consolidated ADMS Series 6 environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and migration pipelines to support large-scale utility data transformations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of migration milestones and project objectives.
• Validate, cleanse, and reconcile complex utility network data to maintain high levels of integrity, quality, and accuracy.
• Analyze source data structures and identify opportunities to improve migration efficiency and data quality.
• Support migration testing, defect resolution, validation activities, and deployment readiness assessments.
• Collaborate with utility stakeholders, ADMS engineers, and integration teams to resolve technical data challenges.
• Contribute to migration documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable utility data standards and operational requirements.

What You Must Have to Be Considered
• 1-6+ years of experience in data migration, ETL development, data engineering, GIS systems, utility technologies, or related technical disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with data migration projects involving large or complex datasets.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of SCADA systems, electrical networks, GIS platforms, or utility operational technologies.
• Experience developing or supporting ETL processes and data transformation workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data quality and integration issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in hybrid, distributed teams.
• Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
These Will Help You Stand Out
• Experience with ADMS, SCADA, EMS, or DMS platforms.
• Knowledge of IEC 61970/61968 Common Information Model (CIM) standards.
• Experience with Python scripting for automation, transformation, or validation activities.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
• Understanding of utility integration standards and utility network models.
• Experience with GIS technologies used in electric utility environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Background in utilities, energy management, smart grid technologies, or critical infrastructure environments.
