Job Summary
This hybrid role is for an experienced consulting manager with deep background as business analyst and in business analytics and planning. The manager will guide complex client engagements translating business needs into actionable solutions optimizing operational models and driving measurable outcomes that align with organizational strategy and societal impact through improved business performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex consulting engagements by translating client business objectives into clear analytical initiatives that drive measurable process improvements and sustainable value creation for the organization and its stakeholders.
- Oversee end to end business analysis activities including requirements discovery documentation and validation to ensure that every solution reflects actual user needs and supports strategic priorities.
- Provide structured guidance on business analytics and planning approaches that enhance forecasting accuracy resource allocation and performance monitoring across multiple functional areas.
- Drive development of detailed business requirements and functional specifications that enable technology and operations teams to deliver outcomes that are traceable to agreed business goals.
- Coordinate workshops and working sessions with client stakeholders to elicit insights challenge assumptions and build shared understanding of current challenges and desired future state.
- Analyze existing business processes and operating models to identify inefficiencies quantify impact and recommend practical improvements that can be implemented in a hybrid work environment.
- Collaborate closely with cross functional consulting and delivery teams to ensure that recommended solutions are feasible prioritized correctly and aligned with both short term and long term business strategies.
- Develop clear business cases including value drivers and risk assessments that help decision makers compare options and commit to initiatives with strong analytical justification.
- Ensure that documentation standards traceability matrices and issue logs are maintained consistently so that stakeholders can follow each requirement from origin to final implementation outcome.
- Guide clients on how to embed analytics and planning practices into their day to day operations so that insights become part of routine decision making and not one time activities.
- Monitor engagement progress using agreed indicators and provide timely status updates and recommendations that keep initiatives on track and support continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior consultants and analysts by sharing proven methods for structured thinking problem framing and stakeholder communication to strengthen the overall consulting capability.
- Align every consulting recommendation with the company purpose of enabling better business decisions thereby supporting economic resilience and positive impact on communities served.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience of ten to twelve years in business analysis within consulting environments demonstrating consistent success in requirement management and stakeholder engagement.
- Apply deep knowledge of business analytics and planning practices to design measurement frameworks interpret data and communicate findings in a way that non technical stakeholders can act upon.
- Show mastery of hybrid work models by coordinating onsite and remote collaboration tools ensuring that documentation communication and follow up are effective regardless of location.
- Utilize strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities to structure complex issues evaluate options and recommend approaches that balance cost risk and value.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in commonly used business analysis artifacts such as use cases process maps user stories and acceptance criteria tailored to consulting engagements.
- Bring excellent verbal and written communication skills that support facilitation of workshops negotiation of priorities and clear presentation of analytical conclusions.
- Exhibit solid understanding of day shift operations and client expectations comfortably managing meetings deadlines and deliverables within standard business hours.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include CBAP or PMI PBA or equivalent business analysis credentials relevant to consulting work.
