About the role
As an SAP Test Program Manager – FICO, MM & SD, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end testing for complex SAP transformation and implementation programs. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with business subject matter experts, client stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and onsite and offshore delivery teams.
You will define the overall testing approach, coordinate execution across integrated SAP business processes, and help ensure the successful delivery of high-quality SAP solutions. You will also use AI-enabled tools and approaches to enhance testing and program-management activities.
In this role, you will
Develop and manage comprehensive test strategies, test plans, estimates, schedules, metrics, and governance for SAP implementation and migration programs.
Lead functional, system integration, end-to-end, and regression testing across SAP S/4HANA and ECC applications, including integrated business processes involving SAP FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, BW, CRM, and SRM.
Partner with business SMEs and SAP functional teams to review business and technical requirements and translate them into test scenarios, test cases, traceability matrices, and execution plans.
Coordinate test execution, defect management, retesting, status reporting, and risk mitigation across onsite and offshore teams, while proactively communicating issues and dependencies to client stakeholders.
Leverage test-management, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve test coverage, delivery efficiency, reporting, and overall program management.

What you need to have to be considered
18+ years of extensive experience leading quality engineering and testing for SAP applications, including significant managerial experience across large, complex SAP programs.
Strong experience testing SAP S/4HANA solutions, including ECC-to-S/4HANA migration and S/4HANA implementation programs.
In-depth knowledge of SAP functional and integrated business processes across multiple modules, such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, and QM.
Experience within the utilities industry, including effective coordination with business stakeholders and client leadership.
Demonstrated expertise in functional, system integration, end-to-end, and regression testing, including test strategy, planning, execution, traceability, defect management, and reporting.
Experience using test-management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, or Azure DevOps and automation tools such as UFT, Tricentis Tosca, or Worksoft.
Strong client-facing communication, stakeholder-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate globally distributed teams.
Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and travel for client engagements when required.
These will help you stand out
Experience or relevant training in applying AI or generative AI tools to quality engineering, test delivery, reporting, or program-management activities.
Broader SAP testing experience across modules and platforms such as BW, CRM, SRM, and SAP ECC.
Experience supporting business development activities, including estimations, requests for proposals, presentations, and capability development.
Experience delivering SAP programs using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Hands-on experience designing or implementing SAP test automation using UFT, Tricentis Tosca, or Worksoft.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $95,850 to $152,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
