Job Summary
This hybrid Technology Architect role focuses on designing and optimizing scalable solutions for SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll ensuring robust integration data consistency and reliable payroll processing for global operations. The architect will collaborate across functions to translate business needs into secure and efficient technology architectures driving improved employee experiences and operational excellence for an MNC client base.
Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive architecture for SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll that ensures reliable payroll processing and seamless integration with existing enterprise applications while aligning with long term technology strategy and compliance needs
- Oversee end to end solution design for hybrid environments by coordinating on premise and cloud components to deliver secure scalable and resilient payroll services for diverse global populations
- Provide detailed technical guidance on configuration of Employee Central Payroll including organizational structures pay components and time data so that payroll runs are accurate auditable and maintainable
- Lead analysis of current payroll processes data flows and integration points to identify optimization opportunities that reduce manual effort improve data quality and enhance system performance
- Coordinate with cross functional teams such as HR operations finance and IT to translate complex business requirements into practical technical designs that support consistent payroll experiences across regions
- Develop robust integration patterns for SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll using middleware and application programming interfaces to streamline data exchange with HR finance and time systems while minimizing operational risk
- Drive creation of reusable architectural patterns technical standards and documentation that enable future enhancements and support efficient onboarding of new regions or business units into the payroll landscape
- Guide troubleshooting of complex payroll issues by analyzing logs data mappings and configuration settings to rapidly isolate root causes and implement sustainable corrective solutions that prevent recurrence
- Optimize system performance and batch processing schedules for Employee Central Payroll to ensure timely payroll cycles and efficient use of infrastructure resources in a hybrid work model and day shift environment
- Collaborate with industrial manufacturing stakeholders to align payroll architecture with plant based workforce models union agreements and shift structures thereby supporting accurate compensation for diverse worker groups
- Advise project teams on risk management security controls and data privacy practices for payroll solutions so that sensitive employee information is protected and regulatory obligations are consistently met
- Support change management activities by explaining architectural decisions in clear language creating technical diagrams and mentoring colleagues to foster stronger understanding of payroll technology capabilities and limitations
- Engage in continuous improvement by assessing emerging technologies vendor releases and best practices for Employee Central Payroll to recommend roadmap enhancements that improve efficiency reliability and user satisfaction
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong hands on expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll including configuration support and solution design for complex multi country environments within large organizations
- Apply solid knowledge of core human resources and payroll processes such as time management compensation and statutory calculations to build solutions that align with business policies and regulatory frameworks
- Utilize experience in hybrid technology landscapes involving cloud platforms and on premise systems to design secure high performing and maintainable integrations with Employee Central Payroll
- Exhibit familiarity with industrial manufacturing domains by understanding plant operations hourly workforce considerations and production shift models and translating these aspects into appropriate payroll configurations
- Employ practical skills in integration technologies and related tools to orchestrate reliable data exchange among HR finance and time systems thereby maintaining synchronized and accurate payroll data repositories
- Demonstrate proficiency in problem solving and root cause analysis for payroll incidents by using systematic investigation techniques and implementing configuration or process changes that deliver durable improvements
- Display clear communication and documentation abilities to describe architectural decisions create diagrams and collaborate with stakeholders so that projects progress smoothly and expectations remain aligned
- Bring eight to twelve years of progressive experience in technology architecture or advanced functional consulting roles with a significant focus on HR and payroll systems in enterprise scale environments
