Cognizant’s IOA IPA BFS consulting team is looking for an experienced Consultant/business analyst/Project Manager to join our multi-disciplinary team. You will have a passion to act as a liaison between business and technology, a problem-solving mindset, ability to lead from the front, excellent communication, stakeholder management and attention to detail skills.
Key Activities and Deliverables:
· Responsible for writing business requirements, user stories and epics as required
· Understand our business, customers, strategic goals and how the teams operate to support the realisation of the desired outcome by the team
· Work in continuous close collaboration with the business and the feature team, ensuring transparency of vision and requirements
· Support others to articulate the ideas and requirements in the format required by the team, such as use cases, user journeys, user stories and illustrations
· Responsible for the outcomes of the team in the identification and delivery of systems, solutions and features
· Accountable for producing business requirements to inform future state design, and supporting teams in understanding the requirements and their linkages to the overall strategy
· Work across teams and stakeholders to capture, validate and document business and system requirements, ensuring they are in line with key strategic principles, and translated from business operations, business objectives, or from external requirements
· Interact with key stakeholders and the team to obtain and document functional and non-functional needs
· Analyse existing system documentation to summarise existing system functionality as it relates to the work at hand
· Support identifying team priorities based upon feedback from the customers, key stakeholders and the team
· Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, user journey maps, systems design, scenarios, business analysis, task, workflow analysis and other relevant techniques
· Analyse and support the team with business requirements and technical specifications to see how they can be developed into small testable and releasable elements
· Work in a timely manner, enabling requirements to be ready just in time, thereby reducing risk whilst still allowing changes resulting from feedback
· Identify and analyse operational risk, issues and dependencies around transitional and future state designs, then proactively highlight to the team
Required Skills:
· Experience in Business analysis, Change Management, Project Management and Impact analysis
· Minimum 2 years of BFS experience essential. Domain knowledge of Retail banking (ISA, Current account, Mortgage, Cards) preferable.
· Good to have knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB framework
