Job Summary
The Adaptive Experience Designer will craft intelligent user journeys that blend AI and ML concepts AI agents and Python based solutions to deliver responsive and personalized digital experiences across channels. This role focuses on designing adaptive workflows and interaction patterns that respond to real time signals optimize user outcomes and align with enterprise objectives in a hybrid work model. Responsibilities
- Design adaptive experience frameworks that apply AI and ML concepts to create responsive journeys that continuously learn from user interactions and improve experience quality over time based on measurable performance indicators and clear business goals.
- Develop detailed interaction models for AI agents that define conversational flows decision paths escalation rules and handoffs to human teams so that users receive consistent guidance and support throughout their digital journey.
- Collaborate with data and engineering teams to shape Python based prototypes that demonstrate adaptive behavior such as dynamic content rendering and personalized recommendations enabling rapid validation of experience hypotheses with stakeholders.
- Create comprehensive experience maps that capture user goals context pain points and success metrics across multiple touchpoints ensuring AI driven interventions are placed where they deliver maximum value without disrupting natural workflows.
- Partner with product managers to translate business objectives regulatory constraints and ethical guidelines into design criteria that inform how AI agents behave communicate and adapt to different user segments and scenarios.
- Define clear experimentation strategies including test variants success measures and guardrails for adaptive experiences using data outputs from AI and ML models to refine design decisions in a structured and transparent manner.
- Document interaction patterns intents responses and fallback behaviors for AI agents so implementation teams can configure and maintain conversational experiences that remain accurate inclusive and context aware over time.
- Align adaptive experience designs with hybrid work practices by producing artifacts and collaboration routines that support distributed teams including clear specifications shared repositories and structured feedback cycles.
- Coordinate with risk and compliance partners to ensure that AI enhanced experiences handle user data responsibly present transparent explanations for automated actions and respect regional requirements relevant to large multinational operations.
- Apply domain understanding of vendor management in retail when available to design experiences that streamline partner onboarding performance monitoring and issue resolution improving reliability and efficiency in vendor interactions.
- Facilitate review sessions with cross functional stakeholders to present adaptive design concepts synthesize feedback and refine AI agent behavior so that solutions remain aligned to evolving customer expectations and organizational priorities.
- Monitor performance of deployed adaptive experiences through defined metrics and qualitative feedback proposing iterative enhancements that improve task success rates reduce friction and support sustainable business growth.
- Contribute to design standards and best practices for AI powered interactions helping the company scale consistent accessible and trustworthy experiences that positively impact users and society through responsible use of intelligent technologies.
Qualifications
- Possess seven to eleven years of experience in experience design or related fields with a significant focus on integrating AI and ML concepts into user journeys and interaction models for complex digital products.
- Demonstrate hands on proficiency in Python for designing and validating adaptive behaviors including data handling basic model interaction and rapid prototyping of AI enhanced workflows.
- Show practical experience in working with AI agents or conversational interfaces covering intent definition response design context management and collaboration with technical teams for implementation.
- Exhibit strong capability in translating analytical insights experiment results and machine driven recommendations into clear design decisions that improve usability clarity and outcome predictability.
- Display familiarity with vendor management processes within retail settings as a beneficial domain skill enabling more relevant experience flows for partner onboarding performance review and issue tracking.
- Maintain effective collaboration skills suited for a hybrid work model including structured communication practices documentation discipline and comfort with distributed cross functional teamwork.
- Provide evidence of working on day shift engagements with global stakeholders managing time zones thoughtfully while sustaining productive and inclusive design and review rhythms without travel requirements.
