About the Role
As a Tech Lead Architect – Python & Data Science, you will lead high-impact, data-driven initiatives by guiding teams in the design, development, and implementation of advanced analytics and software solutions. You will be responsible for technical leadership across projects, ensuring architectural excellence, coding best practices, and continuous innovation.
In this role, you will mentor Python developers and data scientists, collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders, and translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will have the autonomy to shape architecture decisions, drive engineering standards, and influence the future direction of data science solutions within the organization.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead and mentor a team of Python developers and data scientists, providing technical guidance and direction
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team environment
- Own and oversee solution architecture and technical design for data-driven projects
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical stakeholder communications
- Design and develop scalable, performant software solutions using Python
- Lead the implementation of data science models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems
- Ensure high code quality through reviews, best practices, and engineering standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and integrated solutions
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical designs
- Coordinate with other technical leads to ensure consistency, reuse, and integration across platforms
- Stay current with emerging trends in Python, data science, and AI, and apply innovations where relevant
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of data-driven applications
- Promote a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
What You Must Have to Be Considered
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in application design, development, and engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and data science libraries including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis techniques
- Experience with data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly
- Strong expertise in SQL and NoSQL database technologies
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
- Hands-on experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data wrangling
- Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Proven ability to design innovative solutions for large-scale and complex problems

These Will Help You Succeed
- Industry experience in a similar technical leadership or architect role
- Strong experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders and senior leaders
- Exposure to large-scale distributed systems and enterprise data platforms
- Ability to drive technical strategy and roadmap discussions
- Relevant certifications in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning
Education & Certifications
- MSc, MTech, or BTech in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning
Work Model – Hybrid
