Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Developer and Pentaho Data Integration .This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a collaborative environment .
Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain data integration workflows and processes using Pentaho Data Integration to support business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with Property & Casualty Insurance domain standards.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts to extract transform and load data efficiently.
- Provide technical expertise in data modeling database design and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for data integration processes workflows and system configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data integration and database performance in a timely manner.
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and security by implementing best practices in data governance and quality control.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SQL development and data integration technologies.
- Participate in system testing debugging and deployment activities to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.
- Support the organizations mission by delivering high-quality solutions that improve efficiency and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL Developer with the ability to write and optimize complex queries and scripts.
- Exhibit expertise in Pentaho Data Integration including designing and implementing ETL workflows.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the Insurance domain with an understanding of its data and operational requirements.
- Showcase excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Display strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Have a solid understanding of data modeling database design and performance tuning principles.
- Show familiarity with data governance and quality control best practices.
- Demonstrate the ability to document technical processes and workflows clearly and concisely.
- Stay adaptable and open to learning new tools and technologies as required by the role.
- Bring a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Possess a bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
- Have prior experience working in a hybrid work model and collaborating with remote teams effectively.
