About the role

The Senior Facets Product Specialist – G6 AWS DevOps Implementation is a hands‑on DevOps‑oriented implementation role responsible for building, configuring, and enabling TriZetto Facets G6 environments on AWS. This role focuses on automation‑driven environment provisioning, containerized runtime enablement, and deployment validation using AWS‑native and Kubernetes‑based tooling.

The Senior Specialist works closely with Facets implementation leads, cloud engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure Facets G6 environments are repeatable, scalable, and deployment‑ready, supporting continuous delivery and modernization initiatives.

In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities

Facets G6 DevOps Implementation (AWS)

  • Execute Facets G6 environment builds on AWS EKS using standardized and automated deployment patterns
  • Support implementation of containerized Facets G6 runtime components, including batch, services, and interactive workloads
  • Assist with Facets G6 Task Controller setup and DevOps enablement within AWS‑hosted Windows environments.
  • Enable Facets G6 environments across DEV, SIT, UAT, PERF, and PROD using repeatable DevOps workflows.

Infrastructure & Automation Support

  • Support infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns (e.g., Terraform‑based Facets G6 deployments).
  • Assist in configuring and validating:
    • AWS EKS clusters
    • Node groups and namespaces
    • Container registries (ECR)
    • Storage and networking prerequisites

Help ensure Facets G6 platform components are aligned to standardized and automated deployment pipelines.

Kubernetes, CLI & PowerShell Execution

  • Use CLI‑based tooling as a primary DevOps skill, including:
    • kubectl for Kubernetes resource validation
    • AWS CLI for cloud and environment interaction
  • Use PowerShell (pwsh) to:
    • Execute Facets G6 deployment and region configuration scripts
    • Support Task Controller setup, validation, and integration activities
  • Validate container health, namespace state, and deployment readiness without reliance on UI tools.

CI/CD & Delivery Enablement

  • Support integration of Facets G6 deployments into CI/CD pipelines (CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or equivalent tooling).
  • Assist in version rollouts, configuration changes, and environment refresh activities as part of implementation cycles.
  • Work with DevOps teams to ensure Facets G6 deployments align to Git‑based workflows and controlled release practices.

Collaboration & Handover

  • Collaborate with implementation leads, cloud architects, and DevOps engineers during Facets G6 delivery.
  • Support deployment walkthroughs and technical validation sessions.
  • Produce DevOps‑focused implementation documentation, including build steps, scripts, and environment dependencies.
  • Ensure clean handover of pipelines, scripts, and configuration artifacts to deployment and support teams.

What you need to have to be considered

Required Skills & Experience

Core DevOps Skills

  • Strong command‑line (CLI) proficiency in cloud and container environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with KUBECTL for Kubernetes‑based deployments.
  • Solid experience using PowerShell (pwsh) for automation and deployment execution.
  • Experience with AWS services supporting EKS‑based workloads (EKS, EC2, IAM, S3, ECR, networking).
  • Practical experience supporting CI/CD pipelines for enterprise platforms.

Facets Platform Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of TriZetto Facets G6 architecture, particularly containerized runtime concepts.
  • Familiarity with:
    • Facets Task Controller
    • Region constructs
    • Batch and services runtime models

Ability to follow and automate documented Facets G6 deployment workflows.

Professional Skills

  • Strong execution mindset with attention to automation and repeatability.
  • Ability to work effectively within DevOps‑driven delivery models.
  • Clear communication and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to grow into Lead‑level DevOps or platform ownership roles.

Experience & Education

  • 5–10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform implementation roles.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting healthcare or regulated enterprise platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

These will help you stand out

  • Experience with Facets G6 on AWS EKS.
  • Hands‑on exposure to Terraform, Helm, or Git‑based GitOps workflows.
  • Experience supporting cloud modernization or Facets migration initiatives.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 5/04/26.

The annual salary for this position is between $61,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
