About the role
As a Consulting Manager – Business Analyst in Payments you will make an impact by driving improvements across the end-to-end credit card lifecycle, enhancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services Team focused on the Payments domain team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Risk, Compliance, Fraud, and technology teams, as well as client partners.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and deliver improvements across the full credit card lifecycle, including origination, servicing, disputes, payments, and settlements.
- Enhance KYC and AML controls in close partnership with Risk, Compliance, and Fraud teams.
- Improve card application workflows and payment rail integrations, including ACH, SWIFT, FedWire, RTP, and related account management processes.
- Reduce exceptions and accelerate dispute resolution through streamlined processes and automation.
- Optimize servicing operations such as card activation, credit line changes, contact detail updates, and settlement workflows to improve reconciliation accuracy and SLA performance.
Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, Ontario. What you must have to be considered
- Proven experience across the credit card lifecycle, including origination, servicing, disputes, payments, and settlements.
- Hands-on experience delivering process improvements within credit card or payments environments.
- Strong understanding of KYC and AML controls and experience collaborating with Risk, Compliance, and Fraud teams.
- Experience improving card application workflows and integrating payment rails such as ACH, SWIFT, FedWire, and RTP.
- Ability to streamline servicing and settlement operations, with a focus on automation, reconciliation, and SLA performance.

Total Compensation
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD 85,000 –134,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
