Responsibilities : -Design and implement robust AVEVA PI Historian architectures that reliably capture high volume time series data from diverse plant floor and execution systems to support critical operations reporting and analytics. -Configure and optimize AVEVA PI interfaces and connectors to ensure accurate timely and secure data ingestion from control systems IoT devices and execution platforms across multiple manufacturing sites. -Develop advanced PI data models asset frameworks and event frames that align operational tags with business relevant structures enabling more meaningful analysis and streamlined reporting for stakeholders. -Build test and maintain PI based calculations analytics rules and notifications to surface actionable insights that improve equipment effectiveness process stability and resource utilization. -Create intuitive dashboards and trends using PI vision or equivalent visualization tools that allow operations quality and supply chain teams to monitor performance and respond quickly to deviations. -Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain partners to translate operational challenges into scalable PI Historian solutions that directly support productivity sustainability and cost optimization goals. -Integrate PI Historian with enterprise applications such as manufacturing execution planning and data warehouse platforms to provide a consistent and trusted source of operational data. -Establish and enforce standards for data quality tag naming security and retention within the PI ecosystem to ensure long term maintainability and auditability of execution data. -Troubleshoot complex performance issues in PI infrastructure by analyzing system logs resource utilization and data flows then implement corrective actions that minimize downtime and data loss. -Document technical designs configuration baselines and operating procedures in a clear and reusable format that supports efficient knowledge transfer across engineering and operations teams. -Mentor less experienced engineers on PI Historian concepts configuration practices and troubleshooting methods to strengthen team capability and delivery quality over time. -Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to apply appropriate access controls patching and monitoring on PI components ensuring that operational data platforms comply with corporate risk policies. -Engage in continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing operational metrics gathering user feedback and proposing enhancements to execution data solutions that support safer cleaner and more efficient production. -Qualifications -Demonstrate extensive hands on experience in implementing and administering AVEVA PI Historian environments for medium to large scale industrial operations over several years. -Apply practical knowledge of PI interfaces asset framework data archiving backup and system monitoring to maintain highly available and resilient execution data platforms. -Utilize familiarity with manufacturing processes or supply chain operations to design data models and analytics that reflect real world constraints and business performance indicators. -Exhibit proficiency in querying and transforming time series data using scripting or configuration based tools to support reporting diagnostics and advanced analytics initiatives. -Leverage experience with integration of OT data to enterprise or cloud platforms to support broader digital transformation and data democratization objectives for the organization. -Communicate complex technical topics in a clear and inclusive manner to operations business and technology partners to support effective decision making and solution adoption. -Operate comfortably in a hybrid work model while coordinating with global teams during day shift schedules without the need for frequent travel. 9.
