Senior .NET FSE with Angular (Hybrid)

In this role, you will:
- Design and develop scalable web applications using Angular versions two through eight to deliver responsive and intuitive user experiences that support complex insurance workflows and operational processes.
- Architect and optimize relational database solutions using SQL to ensure data integrity high availability and fast query performance across policy claims billing and reporting systems.
- Implement and maintain cloud native solutions on Azure including app services storage and data services to support secure resilient and cost efficient enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with product owners business analysts and quality specialists to translate user stories and domain needs into detailed technical solutions that align with property and casualty insurance operations.
- Perform thorough code reviews and implement coding standards that improve maintainability security and performance while promoting consistent engineering practices across the delivery team.
- Create comprehensive unit tests integration tests and test automation scripts to improve quality reduce defects and support continuous delivery across environments.
- Optimize front end performance by refining Angular components managing state efficiently and reducing payload sizes to ensure fast and reliable experiences for global users.
- Analyze and tune SQL queries indexes and execution plans to address performance bottlenecks and ensure timely access to critical insurance data and analytics.
- Configure and manage Azure resources including monitoring logging and alerting to improve observability incident response and platform reliability.
- Document technical designs data models and integration contracts in a clear and structured manner to support knowledge sharing onboarding and long term platform evolution.
- Work closely with cross functional teams in a hybrid model to plan sprint commitments estimate work and deliver high quality features on schedule while managing dependencies effectively.
- Investigate production issues by analyzing logs metrics and data flows and implement robust fixes and preventive improvements that enhance customer and stakeholder trust.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand regulatory and compliance needs in property and casualty insurance and reflect those needs in secure auditable technical designs and implementations.

- Bring extensive experience in building single page applications using Angular versions two through eight including components services routing and reactive patterns that support complex business flows.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL including schema design stored procedures optimization techniques and data migration strategies suitable for large scale enterprise systems.
- Show proven hands on expertise with Azure services such as web apps functions databases identity and networking to design secure and scalable cloud solutions.
- Apply solid understanding of software engineering practices including object oriented design design patterns and version control to maintain clean and extensible codebases.
- Utilize practical experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools to automate build test and deployment activities across environments.
- Leverage experience in property and casualty insurance or similar financial services domains to understand policies claims underwriting and regulatory constraints that influence technical solutions.
- Exhibit strong problem solving and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse global teams in a hybrid work arrangement while maintaining high standards of delivery quality.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $60K – $117K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
