Job Summary

Cognizant is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer - UiPath Test Cloud to drive the successful adoption, implementation, and optimization of UiPath's modern test automation platform within complex enterprise environments. This role combines deep expertise in quality engineering, test automation, and platform integration to help organizations enhance software quality, accelerate delivery, and improve testing governance at scale.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in test automation frameworks, enterprise application testing, and UiPath Test Cloud capabilities, with the ability to guide customers through deployment strategies, platform enablement, CI/CD integration, and automation best practices across cloud and on-premises ecosystems.

About the Role

As a Forward Deployment Engineer - UiPath Test Cloud, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor responsible for helping enterprise teams modernize and scale their testing capabilities using the UiPath platform. You will work closely with stakeholders to implement and operationalize test automation solutions, enable seamless integrations with existing quality engineering ecosystems, and promote best practices for automation governance, traceability, and execution management.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in UiPath Test Cloud, Test Manager, Studio, Orchestrator, and related platform capabilities to support testing initiatives across UI, API, mobile, SAP, and enterprise applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing processes with ALM, DevOps, and CI/CD toolchains while ensuring scalable, resilient, and efficient automated testing operations.

Success in this role requires a strong foundation in quality engineering, enterprise test automation, platform deployment, and customer-facing engagement, along with the ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into effective testing solutions that drive measurable quality outcomes.

In This Role, You Will

• Use and work with your QA automation background, Test Cloud or Tricentis Tosca with SAP integration experience

• Drive adoption of UiPath Test Manager for requirements traceability, test planning, test sets, execution governance, visual logging, defect triage, and quality reporting.

• Advise on resilient UI, API, mobile, and enterprise application automation using Studio low-code and coded testing, reusable assets, object repositories, and data-driven testing.

• Operationalize Orchestrator and test robots for on-demand, scheduled, parallel, and CI/CD-triggered execution across cloud and on-premises environments.

• Integrate Test Cloud with ALM, DevOps, version-control, and issue-tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ServiceNow, SAP Solution Manager, Git, SVN, and TFS.

Required Qualifications

 Deep expertise in UiPath Test Cloud and its integration with Tricentis Tosca.

 Strong knowledge of UiPath Test Manager for requirements traceability, test planning, execution management, and quality reporting.

 Hands-on experience with UiPath Studio and Studio Web for automated test development.

 Proficiency in configuring and managing UiPath Orchestrator and Test Robots.

 Experience leveraging Autopilot for Testers to accelerate test creation and maintenance.

 Knowledge of Agent Builder and Coding Agents within the UiPath ecosystem.

 Experience implementing and supporting Test Manager Connect integrations.

 Familiarity with UiPath Maestro for orchestration and end-to-end process management.

 Understanding of Self-Healing testing capabilities to improve automation resilience.

 Comprehensive knowledge of the broader UiPath Platform and enterprise test automation best practices.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until October 4^th , 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $83,000 - $131,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
