We are looking for a Senior System Integration Engineer for a permanent role. You will act as a pivotal link between technical execution and enterprise data strategy. You will play a critical role in the pre-integration phase, ensuring that disparate systems, vendor solutions, and internal data ecosystems are architected for seamless interoperability before they reach production.
In this role, you will
- Lead the pre-integration analysis of proposed data solutions to ensure compatibility with existing banking infrastructure, security standards, and high-availability requirements.
- Define and document robust integration points, API specifications, and data exchange protocols to mitigate risks before system deployment.
- Work closely with the Chief Data Officer to ensure all system integration activities adhere to enterprise data governance, quality frameworks, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Act as the technical liaison to ensure that privacy, security, and data sovereignty requirements are baked into the integration architecture from the design phase.
- Act as the primary technical interface for third-party vendors during the build-out phase, validating their integration approaches against our internal data platform requirements.
- Oversee vendor delivery milestones, ensuring that third-party code and configurations align with our internal CI/CD pipelines, security protocols, and performance benchmarks.
- Proactively address integration challenges arising during the build-out, providing hands-on technical guidance to resolve conflicts between vendor solutions and internal systems.
Required skills:
- Overall 6-10 years experience in system integration and API development background.
- Minimum 4+ background working with data infrastructure, including data pipeline development, data quality controls, and data governance frameworks.
- Exceptional diagnostic and root-cause analysis capabilities to resolve deep technical roadblocks across distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI coding assistants (such as GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or Claude) alongside a strong track record of task automation.
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills, with a proven ability to translate complex architectures into clear knowledge-base articles.
Preferred skills
- Banking Domain experience.
- Familiarity with enterprise environments and vendor ecosystems a plus.
