About the role

As a Mobile Automation Test Lead (iOS Focus), you will make an impact by driving high-quality mobile application delivery through scalable automation frameworks and robust testing strategies. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering & Assurance team and work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless and reliable mobile experiences.

In this role, you will:

Design, build, and scale mobile test automation frameworks from scratch using tools such as XCUITest, Appium, or Espresso

Translate business requirements and user stories into efficient, reusable automated test scripts using languages such as Java, Python, or TypeScript

Manage and execute testing across a broad device matrix, including real devices, emulators, and simulators

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab) for continuous validation

Automate regression test suites and implement reporting dashboards using tools like Allure or ExtentReports

Drive best practices in mobile quality assurance, exploratory testing, and documentation

What you need to have to be considered

8+ years of experience in mobile application testing with a strong focus on iOS testing

Hands-on expertise in mobile automation frameworks such as XCUITest, Appium, or Espresso

Strong programming skills with experience in Java, Python, or TypeScript, including exposure to Agentic AI-assisted development

Experience with integration testing for mobile apps, including tools such as Charles Proxy

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, exploratory testing, and test documentation practices

Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines

These will help you stand out

Experience with Android testing and cross-platform automation

Knowledge of API test automation frameworks

Hands-on experience in accessibility (a11y) testing for mobile applications

Familiarity with emerging tools such as Maestro (YAML-based automation)

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $71,000 to $112,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

About the role

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer – Selenium, Java & Qualitia you will make an impact by driving high-quality, scalable, and reliable digital solutions through advanced automation and performance testing. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, product, and business teams, to ensure best-in-class testing practices across enterprise applications.

In this role, you will:

Lead the design and implementation of robust test automation strategies across UI, API, and enterprise systems

Architect and enhance automation frameworks to ensure optimal coverage, scalability, and efficiency

Drive end-to-end quality assurance across cloud, web, APIs/services, and databases

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders to align quality strategies with business goals

Execute and optimize performance and load testing for both UI and API layers while ensuring system reliability

What you need to have to be considered:

5+ years of experience in quality assurance and test automation in enterprise environments

Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Qualitia test automation tool

Strong expertise in automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium, Java, TestNG, SoapUI, or similar

Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level test automation frameworks

Hands-on experience with API testing, BDD frameworks, and codeless/scriptless automation approaches

Experience in performance and load testing for UI and APIs (e.g., JMeter)

Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps practices, including CI/CD integration

Experience with version control and DevOps tools (GitHub, VSTS/Azure DevOps)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

These will help you stand out:

Experience in the mortgage or financial services domain

Exposure to tools such as Loan Runner or similar lending platforms

Experience working with executive-level stakeholders and influencing quality strategy

Ability to mentor team members and drive QA best practices and innovation

Strong experience in business workflow validation and real-world scenario testing

As a Lead Test Automation Engineer – Mobile & Web Applications, you will make an impact by ensuring high-quality delivery through robust automation frameworks and testing strategies for web and mobile platforms. You will be a valued member of our QA team and collaborate closely with offshore teams and stakeholders to drive automation excellence.


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in daily stand-up calls and provide status updates.
  • Manage and coordinate activities with the offshore team.
  • Update and maintain automation frameworks to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Develop functional test cases and automation scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Perform functional and automated regression testing to validate application quality.

  • At least 8+ years of experience in test automation for mobile and web applications.
  • Strong experience with automation frameworks such as Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Hands-on experience in API automation testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
  • Solid knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, or Jest.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Kotlin.
  • Strong experience with database testing and validating stored procedures using SQL.
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

  • Experience in performance testing and security testing.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes for test environments.
