Job Summary

Serve as a functional architect specializing in SAP Integrated Business Planning and Generative AI for life sciences clients designing scalable planning solutions across demand inventory and sales and operations planning processes. Apply deep domain expertise to optimize supply chain outcomes enable data driven decisions and help deliver safer and more reliable products to patients in a hybrid working model.


Responsibilities

  • Design and validate end to end SAP Integrated Business Planning solutions that align business goals with best practice processes across demand planning inventory optimization and sales and operations planning for life sciences clients in a hybrid work environment.
  • Analyze existing planning processes and system landscapes to identify improvement opportunities in forecast accuracy inventory turns and service levels while ensuring compliance with stringent life sciences regulations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex planning requirements into detailed SAP Integrated Business Planning functional designs that can be reliably implemented and supported.
  • Configure SAP Integrated Business Planning demand planning capabilities to support statistical forecasting promotional planning and new product introduction scenarios specific to pharmaceutical and life sciences supply chains.
  • Configure SAP Integrated Business Planning inventory models to balance stock availability safety targets and working capital objectives while accounting for shelf life constraints and regulatory batch controls.
  • Implement SAP Integrated Business Planning sales and operations planning scenarios that integrate supply demand and financial perspectives to support executive decision making and scenario simulation.
  • Apply Generative AI techniques to enhance planning processes by enabling intelligent forecast insights automated scenario narratives and advanced exception identification across large data sets.
  • Work closely with data integration and analytics teams to ensure that master data transactional data and external signals flow consistently into SAP Integrated Business Planning and Generative AI models.
  • Conduct functional testing user acceptance support and defect resolution to ensure that implemented solutions meet quality standards and deliver measurable business value within agreed timelines.
  • Create clear documentation including process flows configuration rationales and functional specifications to support ongoing maintenance audits and future enhancements in the planning landscape.
  • Deliver focused user enablement sessions and functional guidance to planners and supply chain professionals so that new capabilities are adopted smoothly and used effectively in day to day operations.
  • Partner with manufacturing and supply chain domain experts when relevant to design integrated planning scenarios that connect shop floor realities with strategic and tactical planning horizons.
  • Monitor solution performance through defined metrics and continuously refine functional designs and Generative AI use cases to improve planning accuracy cycle times and collaboration outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience as a functional architect working hands on with SAP Integrated Business Planning demand inventory and sales and operations planning functionalities for complex global organizations.
  • Demonstrate strong practical exposure to Generative AI concepts and tools applied to planning analytics or decision support including experience framing business problems that benefit from Generative AI based solutions.
  • Bring substantial domain experience in life sciences processes such as clinical and commercial supply planning product lifecycle constraints and compliance aware distribution models.
  • Show working knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain planning principles including capacity considerations lead time management and multi site distribution when designing planning scenarios.
  • Exhibit proven capability in conducting requirement workshops documenting functional specifications and guiding configuration choices that balance best practice with client specific needs.
  • Display strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with planners quality specialists regulatory teams and information technology partners in a hybrid setting.
  • Maintain familiarity with contemporary planning analytics key performance indicators and data quality practices to ensure that SAP Integrated Business Planning solutions remain robust scalable and business focused.


Certifications Required

SAP Certified Application Associate SAP Integrated Business Planning any recognized Generative AI or machine learning certification
