Job Summary

This hybrid role is for a Lead Developer with strong experience in Python3 delivering secure and scalable enterprise applications. The professional will design and implement robust services mentor a technical team and collaborate with cross functional partners to achieve high quality outcomes. Experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong advantage for this position.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high quality Python3 applications that are modular secure and optimized for performance in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Architect scalable service components using Python3 to support business critical workflows while ensuring maintainability and future extensibility.
  • Review and refine existing Python3 codebases to improve reliability readability and efficiency while reducing technical debt and operational risk.
  • Coordinate with product and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans aligned to organizational goals.
  • Guide the adoption of engineering standards covering code structure testing practices observability and documentation to build reliable solutions.
  • Optimize data handling and integration flows between Python3 services and external systems to enhance throughput and reduce response times.
  • Implement robust error handling logging and monitoring strategies in Python3 solutions to enable proactive detection and resolution of production issues.
  • Collaborate with quality engineering teams to define test strategies and automate test suites that validate critical Python3 functionality.
  • Mentor and support developers with varied experience levels by giving constructive feedback on design choices coding practices and problem solving approaches.
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new Python3 libraries frameworks and tools and by recommending adoption when they provide measurable value.
  • Ensure secure development practices across all Python3 components by addressing vulnerabilities and aligning with organizational security guidelines.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams to enable smooth deployment of Python3 solutions in hybrid environments and to streamline release pipelines.
  • Document system architectures data flows and critical design decisions so that other teams can easily understand operate and enhance the Python3 solutions.


Qualifications

  • Require professional software development experience of at least ten years with extensive focus on Python3 for backend or service oriented applications.
  • Require strong expertise in designing and building scalable and modular Python3 architectures that support complex business processes.
  • Require experience in writing comprehensive unit integration and functional tests for Python3 systems using industry standard testing frameworks.
  • Require practical experience working in hybrid work models with distributed teams and using modern collaboration and version control tools.
  • Require strong skills in analyzing performance bottlenecks within Python3 applications and implementing solutions that improve responsiveness and stability.
  • Nice to have experience in automotive industry domains such as vehicle data processing connected mobility or digital platforms supporting automotive services.
  • Nice to have familiarity with industry regulations and quality expectations typically seen in automotive or manufacturing environments and how they influence software design.
  • Nice to have hands on experience integrating Python3 applications with data platforms message brokers or cloud native services that are common in large organizations.
  • Nice to have background in mentoring or guiding development teams by sharing Python3 best practices and promoting consistent engineering patterns.
  • Nice to have exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for Python3 projects including automated quality and security checks.


Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include Python Institute Certified Professional in Python Programming or equivalent vendor neutral Python certification.
