Cognizant is seeking a highly experienced Senior Functional Architect – Oracle SCM Cloud to serve as a trusted advisor and lead end-to-end supply chain transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud modules and the ability to lead complex, multi-workstream implementations from design through deployment.
About the role
As a Senior Functional Architect, you will own the functional solution architecture across Oracle SCM Cloud modules and guide clients through enterprise-wide supply chain transformation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive design decisions, and ensure successful delivery across all phases of the program lifecycle.
In this role you will
• Lead end-to-end functional architecture across Oracle SCM Cloud modules including Procurement, Inventory, Cost Management, Order Management, and Master Data Management
• Design enterprise SCM structures such as Legal Entities, Business Units, Inventory Organizations, and Item Master Organizations aligned with client operating models
• Author key documentation including BRDs, FDDs, SDDs, and PDDs for all in-scope modules
• Define and manage item master strategy including item structures, classes, profiles, and catalog management using Oracle Product Hub
• Lead full lifecycle delivery including Requirements, CRP, SIT, UAT, Cutover, and Go-Live support
• Configure Oracle SCM Cloud modules and manage configuration workbooks across environments
• Facilitate workshops, CRP sessions, and UAT with business stakeholders and SMEs
• Drive data migration strategy for SCM data including item masters, BOMs, inventory, purchase orders, and supplier data
• Oversee RICEW deliverables and ensure alignment with functional requirements
• Support period-end close processes for inventory and cost management and lead post-go-live stabilization
• Manage scope, risks, change requests, and issue resolution across the SCM workstream
Work Model: Remote with Milestone travel to Philadelphia
What you need to have to be considered
• 14–16 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Supply Chain / Procurement implementations
• Strong experience across Oracle SCM Cloud modules including Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Planning
• Proven track record delivering complex enterprise-scale implementations
• Hands-on experience in production scheduling, inventory management, and manufacturing processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
These will help you stand out
• Oracle SCM Cloud / ERP Cloud implementation experience (mandatory)
• Expertise in Supplier Portal, Supplier Qualification Management, Procurement Contracts, and Self-Service Procurement
• Exposure to Program & Project Portfolio Management and Digital Governance domains
• Oracle Cloud Procurement Implementation certification or equivalent
• Master’s degree (MBA or related) preferred

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100,890 - $138,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
