About the role
As a Consulting Manager in Metadata & Data Mapping Analyst, you will make an impact by defining, managing, and governing enterprise metadata and end-to-end source-to-target data mappings across complex banking and risk data ecosystems. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with Business, Risk, Finance, Data, Technology teams, and external stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
Lead the development and maintenance of business and technical metadata, including data cataloging, lineage, data dictionaries, and source-to-target mappings
Create and manage detailed source-to-target mapping (STTM), covering business definitions, data attributes, hierarchies, transformation rules, and aggregation logic
Support data governance frameworks including data ownership, stewardship, data quality controls, and traceability aligned to BCBS 239 principles
Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate regulatory, risk, and business requirements into actionable metadata and mapping deliverables, and support impact analysis
Support delivery, quality assurance, and governance activities including UAT, data validation, audit readiness, and team coordination, while contributing to business development and mentoring team members

What you must have to be considered
7–10 years of experience in data analysis, metadata management, or data mapping within banking or financial services
Extensive experience with business-driven source-to-target data mapping in complex data environments
Strong understanding of data governance concepts and operating models
Proven experience supporting BCBS 239 compliance and regulatory data programs
Strong knowledge of Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, or Capital Markets data domains
Ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into structured data artifacts
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage business, data, and technology stakeholders
These will help you succeed
Experience with metadata management and data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Ab Initio)
Strong SQL skills and experience in data analysis and validation
Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting architecture
Experience supporting regulatory reporting, stress testing, or risk data aggregation programs
Experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models
Strong attention to detail with a data-quality mindset and ability to balance business meaning with technical implementation
Leadership, mentoring capability, and experience operating in regulated, audit-intensive environments
