About the Role
As a Sr Scrum Master, you will make an impact by leading Agile delivery teams and driving the successful execution of complex initiatives within the Banking, Financial Services, and Asset & Wealth Management domain. You will be a valued member of the Agile delivery team and work collaboratively with product owners, business stakeholders, development teams, and leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead the day-to-day execution of Agile Scrum teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and delivery objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, providing clear communication and removing impediments to team success.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Monitor sprint progress, track delivery commitments, and provide regular updates to business stakeholders on sprint performance and delivery goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Agile maturity, delivery effectiveness, team collaboration, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Fort Mill, South Carolina. What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- 8+ years of experience leading Agile teams in a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or related Agile delivery role.
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and Agile project delivery practices.
- Proven experience facilitating sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning, and daily stand-ups.
- Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, or Asset & Wealth Management environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and remove delivery impediments while enabling team success.
- Experience with Agile metrics, reporting, sprint tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
- Experience supporting Agile transformation initiatives across enterprise organizations.
- Knowledge of Agile PLM and related Agile delivery tools.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled delivery practices, tools, or automation.
- Experience working with globally distributed Agile teams.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position will be between $69,000 to $114,000 per year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
