About the role
As a Palantir Lead / Senior Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data solutions on the Palantir Foundry platform. You will be a valued member of the Data & Analytics team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and delivery teams to build scalable data platforms that enable advanced analytics, operational intelligence, and business transformation.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data platforms using Palantir Foundry.
- Build and optimize data pipelines, ontologies, workflows, and data models to support business and operational use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and innovative data solutions.
- Drive architectural decisions, integration strategies, platform performance optimization, and platform scalability initiatives.
- Establish and promote best practices for data engineering, version control, deployment automation, and solution governance within the Palantir ecosystem.
Work model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a Cognizant or client office in Houston, TX. What you need to have to be considered
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including data pipeline development, ontology design, workflow creation, and platform administration.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, data integration, or related data platform development roles.
- Strong SQL expertise with experience designing and optimizing complex data models and analytical datasets.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of data architecture, integration patterns, data governance, and data quality best practices.
- Experience leading technical initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business-focused solutions.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
These will help you stand out
- Experience delivering data products, operational workflows, and analytics solutions within Palantir Foundry.
- Knowledge of large-scale data modernization and cloud transformation programs.
- Experience integrating Palantir Foundry with enterprise applications, APIs, and cloud-native services.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership across distributed teams.
- Understanding of advanced analytics, operational intelligence, and decision-support platforms.
