Collibra DevOps Lead
About the Role
As a Collibra DevOps Lead, you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable REST API solutions integrated with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud, driving complex data intelligence initiatives across a global enterprise.
You will be a valued member of a high-performing data governance team, working collaboratively with business stakeholders, technical architects, and cross-functional partners across asset and wealth management domains.
In this role, you will:
- Drive end-to-end design and implementation of REST API-based services that enable secure and reliable integration with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud across enterprise data ecosystems
- Lead Collibra Configuration and Implementation, including Asset Models, Workflows, and Forms, translating business data governance requirements into robust technical solutions that improve data cataloguing, lineage tracking, and stewardship workflows
- Provide detailed technical guidance to development teams on REST API standards, request/response structures, performance tuning, and error handling to ensure resilient and maintainable services
- Lead planning and execution of data intelligence use cases that leverage Collibra to improve data discoverability, ownership clarity, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Manage technical review sessions to validate solution designs, identify integration risks with existing systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that refine Collibra usage patterns and optimise metadata models

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring a set number of days per week in a client or Cognizant office in the Netherlands. What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Extensive hands-on expertise with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud, including configuration of domains, workflows, roles, and metadata models that enable effective data governance
- Extensive experience designing and building REST API solutions for large-scale enterprise applications, with a strong focus on robustness, performance, and secure data access
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills enabling quick diagnosis of data quality issues, integration failures, and configuration gaps within complex ecosystems
- Proven ability to mentor technical professionals, provide actionable feedback, and promote engineering discipline aligned with organisational standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to explain technical decisions in clear business terms and negotiate priorities across technology and business teams
These Will Help You Stand Out
- Practical understanding of asset and wealth management concepts such as portfolios, investment products, client segments, and regulatory reporting
- Experience facilitating knowledge sharing sessions that build team capability in Collibra modules, REST API patterns, and modern data architecture principles
- Ability to evaluate new features released in Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud and propose phased adoption strategies aligned with the organisational data governance roadmap
- Good working knowledge of best practices in source control, code review, and automated testing for REST API components that minimise production incidents and accelerate safe deployments
- Experience coordinating hybrid team activities through clear collaboration practices, sprint ceremonies, and documentation routines that support both remote and on-site team members
