Job Summary

Architect will design and optimize secure PHP based solutions on AWS for hi tech products ensuring reliable production support robust database structures and scalable REST APIs. Role involves transforming complex business needs into efficient technical architectures enforcing secure coding aligned with OWASP practices and guiding teams toward consistent delivery quality.


Responsibilities

  • Design and refine end to end application architectures for hi tech solutions using PHP and AWS to ensure scalability reliability and maintainability across hybrid work environments
  • Oversee production support for mission critical PHP applications by analyzing incidents optimizing performance and ensuring minimal downtime for business operations
  • Provide detailed architectural guidance on DBMS and SQL schema design indexing strategies and query optimization to support high volume transactional workloads
  • Develop secure and efficient PHP web components and REST API designs that enable seamless integration between front end systems backend services and third party platforms
  • Implement secure coding practices for PHP aligned with OWASP principles by defining coding standards reviewing implementations and driving remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Coordinate closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment processes robust monitoring and proactive issue detection in day shift operations
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation including logical diagrams data flows and interface contracts that clearly communicate system behavior and constraints
  • Collaborate with domain stakeholders in hi tech to translate product roadmaps and technical trends into future ready architectural patterns and reusable solution components
  • Guide optimization initiatives across application layers by profiling PHP runtime behavior tuning SQL queries and recommending caching or data partitioning strategies
  • Conduct thorough impact assessments for proposed changes validating compatibility with existing services security requirements and operational support models without requiring travel
  • Establish clear standards for error handling logging and observability in PHP and AWS based systems to improve diagnostic capabilities and accelerate incident resolution
  • Coordinate cross team technical reviews to validate architectural decisions and ensure that solutions align with enterprise security guidelines and compliance expectations
  • Drive continuous improvement in production support processes by analyzing root causes defining preventive measures and mentoring teams on resilient design practices


Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience in PHP web development including designing modular components crafting REST APIs and integrating with diverse client and server side frameworks
  • Demonstrate hands on proficiency with secure coding for PHP and OWASP concepts by systematically identifying risks implementing mitigations and validating code robustness through reviews
  • Apply strong knowledge of DBMS and SQL to design normalized schemas tune complex queries and configure database environments that sustain high performance under load
  • Utilize practical experience with AWS services to select suitable components design deployment topologies and configure environments that meet reliability and scalability targets
  • Bring solid exposure to hi tech industry domains by aligning architectural decisions with hardware software product lifecycles rapid innovation needs and market expectations
  • Exhibit proven capability in production support for large scale applications through structured incident management performance tuning and coordinated communication with stakeholders
  • Collaborate effectively in a hybrid work model by using remote friendly tools documenting decisions clearly and maintaining consistent engagement with distributed teams
