Job Summary
This hybrid role is for a software engineer with three to four years of experience in Core Java and Java NTAC & NDC Order Experience & responsible for designing building and enhancing scalable applications for an international organization. The engineer will collaborate across teams follow modern development practices and ensure stable secure and high performing software that supports critical business processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust Java based application components using Core Java features to deliver stable and efficient business solutions for an international environment
- Develop clean maintainable and well structured code in Java by following coding standards and internal guidelines to support long term system sustainability
- Analyze functional and technical requirements to translate them into detailed design and implementation tasks that align with project goals and timelines
- Refine existing modules by identifying performance issues and memory bottlenecks and applying Core Java optimizations that improve overall responsiveness
- Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests that increase code coverage and safeguard key workflows during continuous changes
- Perform code reviews for peers to ensure adherence to best practices identify defects early and encourage knowledge sharing across the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and incidents in Java applications by performing root cause analysis and implementing durable corrective actions
- Collaborate with product analysts testers and infrastructure specialists in a hybrid work model to plan releases clarify requirements and align on priorities
- Prepare and update technical documentation including component designs configuration details and user facing technical notes for long term reference
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement
- Integrate Java applications with databases external services and internal platforms using secure and well structured interfaces that protect data integrity
- Apply secure coding practices in Core Java to reduce vulnerabilities and support regulatory and organizational compliance expectations
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines by configuring automated builds tests and quality checks that help keep releases reliable
Qualifications
- Possess a degree in computer science information technology engineering or a related field with relevant industry experience in software development
- Demonstrate three to four years of hands on experience working with Core Java and Java based application development in commercial or enterprise projects
- Exhibit strong understanding of object oriented programming collections exception handling and multithreading concepts within Core Java
- Show capability to work with relational databases and write efficient queries while collaborating with database experts for performance tuning
- Display familiarity with build tools testing frameworks and version control systems commonly used in Java development environments
- Communicate clearly in a hybrid work setting by engaging effectively in virtual and in person discussions with global stakeholders
- Adapt quickly to new tools frameworks and internal standards to remain productive and responsive to evolving project demands
