Job Summary

Sr Software Engineer will design and build high quality mobile and web applications for consumer lending products working in a hybrid day shift model. The role focuses on robust app architecture secure Rest API integration and performant user experiences using React Js and React Native while ensuring reliable delivery through GIT based collaboration and adherence to domain compliance and risk standards.


Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable mobile applications for consumer lending solutions ensuring robust modular structures that support maintainable code and future feature growth
  • Develop and enhance responsive user interfaces using React Js and React Native that deliver intuitive borrowing experiences while meeting accessibility and performance expectations
  • Implement secure and well structured Rest API integrations that enable reliable data exchange between mobile clients and backend services with strong focus on consumer lending workflows
  • Configure and optimize networking library usage to ensure resilient connectivity graceful error handling and efficient data transfer across diverse mobile and web environments
  • Collaborate with product and domain experts to translate consumer lending requirements into technical designs that balance regulatory constraints operational risk and customer usability
  • Apply version control best practices using GIT including branching merging and code review workflows to maintain high code quality and predictable release cycles in a hybrid work setting
  • Conduct thorough unit integration and end to end testing of mobile and web features focusing on loan origination repayment and account management scenarios to prevent defects in production
  • Investigate and resolve production issues by analyzing logs monitoring performance metrics and applying networking and API debugging techniques to restore stable experiences for lending customers
  • Optimize application performance by profiling rendering flows reducing payload sizes and tuning caching strategies to support fast secure and responsive interactions for borrowers and internal teams
  • Document architecture design decisions and technical implementation details in clear consumable formats so cross functional peers can understand lending flows and maintain solutions effectively
  • Coordinate with security and compliance stakeholders to embed encryption validation and data protection practices into mobile architecture aligning with consumer lending regulations and organizational risk guidelines
  • Mentor peers on best practices for React React Native Rest API design and mobile architecture patterns fostering a culture of clean code shared ownership and continuous improvement across the engineering group
  • Participate actively in sprint planning backlog refinement and hybrid collaboration rituals to ensure delivery commitments are realistic aligned with lending business priorities and technically achievable


Qualifications

  • Bring hands on experience in designing and implementing mobile app architecture using modern patterns such as component based structures and navigation strategies suited for complex lending journeys
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Rest API design and consumption including request modeling response handling and error management tailored to secure financial data exchanges
  • Show strong capability in working with networking libraries to manage timeouts retries connectivity detection and secure transport enhancing reliability of mobile and web channels
  • Exhibit solid skills in React Js for building modular front end components state management and routing that support rich data driven lending dashboards and workflows
  • Apply deep experience with React Native to deliver high performing cross platform mobile applications leveraging native modules when needed to enrich borrower experiences
  • Use GIT fluently for collaborative development including pull requests conflict resolution and release tagging ensuring stable progression of code across environments
  • Leverage practical knowledge of consumer lending concepts including credit assessment loan lifecycle repayment schedules and regulatory considerations to design domain aware technical solutions
