Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Security Operations Engineer to lead operational support and service delivery across enterprise security platforms including Netskope, SentinelOne, Kiteworks, and Akamai. This role will be responsible for managing a dedicated Security Operations team, ensuring platform health, operational excellence, incident resolution, and policy enforcement across critical security technologies. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Netskope modules, endpoint security, secure access technologies, and managed security operations. This position requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and experience supporting enterprise-scale security environments.
In this role, you will:
· Lead and manage day-to-day Security Operations activities across Netskope, SentinelOne, Kiteworks, and Akamai platforms.
· Provide technical leadership for Netskope services including DLP, Secure Web Gateway (SWG), CASB, and Netskope Private Access (NPA).
· Oversee platform monitoring, health checks, availability management, and operational support for enterprise security tools.
· Support SentinelOne endpoint security operations, threat monitoring, incident investigation, and policy management.
· Manage Kiteworks secure file transfer and managed file platform operations.
· Support Akamai WAF administration, policy tuning, security monitoring, and operational governance.
· Coordinate incident management activities, escalations, root cause analysis, and service restoration efforts.
· Ensure security policy enforcement mechanisms function effectively across supported platforms.
· Manage team resource allocation, service delivery metrics, operational reporting, and major incident support coverage.
· Collaborate with customer stakeholders, security teams, and infrastructure teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What you need to have to be considered
· 10+ years of experience in Security Operations, Cybersecurity Engineering, or Security Platform Support.
· Expert-level experience with Netskope modules including DLP, SWG, CASB, and NPA.
· Strong hands-on expertise with SentinelOne endpoint protection and security operations.
· Experience supporting Akamai security solutions, including WAF capabilities.
· Experience working with Kiteworks Secure File Transfer and Managed File Platform solutions.
· Strong understanding of Zero Trust, CASB, DLP, SSE/SASE, secure web access, and endpoint security technologies.
· Experience leading security operations teams within managed services or enterprise environments.
· Strong incident management, service delivery, operational governance, and escalation management skills.
· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
· Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, Netskope, SentinelOne, or vendor-specific certifications are preferred.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[114,500 - 134,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
