About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Blue Yonder WMS Program Lead to serve as the single point of accountability for Cognizant’s delivery scope within a large-scale Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation. Based in Dallas, TX, this role acts as the primary governance partner to the client, overseeing program execution, financial management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination across a complex ecosystem that includes the client, Blue Yonder, Cognizant, and third-party MHE/WCS vendors. The ideal candidate combines deep Blue Yonder WMS expertise with strong program leadership capabilities, ensuring delivery excellence, stakeholder alignment, and successful execution through go-live and Hypercare.
In this role you will:
- Provide overall leadership and accountability for Cognizant’s scope, deliverables, and commitments across the Blue Yonder WMS program.
- Serve as the client's primary day-to-day governance counterpart and trusted advisor.
- Own and maintain the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), driving mitigation planning, accountability, and escalations.
- Develop and manage the integrated program plan, ensuring adherence to milestones, quality gates, and delivery timelines.
- Hold Blue Yonder accountable for product commitments, issue resolution SLAs, patch delivery schedules, and implementation timelines.
- Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, burn-rate tracking, invoicing inputs, and variance analysis.
- Lead governance for testing phases, including SIT, UAT, performance testing, cutover planning, and deployment readiness activities.
- Facilitate executive-level communication, status reporting, and stakeholder alignment across all program participants.
- Drive issue resolution and decision-making across multiple workstreams and vendor organizations.
- Ensure successful deployment, stabilization, and transition into post-go-live support.
Work Model
Cognizant embraces a flexible hybrid work environment designed to support work-life balance while meeting business and client needs. This role is based in Dallas, TX and follows a hybrid work model, with periodic onsite presence required at client or Cognizant locations.
Work arrangements may evolve based on project demands, client requirements, or business priorities. Expectations will always be communicated clearly throughout the engagement.
What you need to have to be considered
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 14+ years of experience in IT and supply chain program delivery, including at least 8 years focused on Warehouse Management Systems.
- 5+ years of leadership experience delivering end-to-end Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS implementations in a Program Manager, Delivery Lead, or equivalent role.
- Proven success leading at least two full lifecycle WMS implementations through go-live, Hypercare, and stabilization.
- Strong experience managing multimillion-dollar program budgets, financial forecasting, and variance controls.
- Demonstrated expertise in large-scale program governance, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination.
These will help you stand out:
- Experience within automotive, OEM parts distribution, logistics, or aftermarket supply chain environments.
- Exposure to Blue Yonder Cognitive WMS and Yard Management System (YMS).
- Understanding of Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-In-Sequence (JIS) fulfillment models.
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe Agilist, or comparable project/program management certification.
- Experience leading Agile-at-scale delivery models, including Scrum of Scrums, PI Planning, and cross-functional governance in package implementation programs.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $155,000 - $180,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
