About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Manager (Program Manager) to lead the successful delivery of strategic business modernization initiatives across complex, cross-functional programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, stakeholder management, delivery governance, financial management, and transformation expertise, with a proven ability to drive business value through innovation, AI, and technology-led efficiencies.

In this role, you will

  • Program Leadership: Lead end-to-end program execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, delivery commitments, and strategic outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business leaders, and executive stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point.
  • Delivery Governance: Establish and oversee program governance, delivery metrics, and performance reporting to ensure quality, predictability, and timely execution.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks while ensuring adherence to organizational, regulatory, and client compliance requirements.
  • People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • AI & Technology Enablement: Drive delivery excellence through adoption of AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

What you need to have to be considered

  • Proven experience managing large-scale programs and portfolios in a client-facing environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation, automation, and AI-enabled delivery initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex dependencies, and geographically distributed teams.

Total compensation

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD 100,000 – 133,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
