We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise digital experiences and public web properties. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing solutions using Adobe Experience Manager, along with experience working in AEM as a Cloud Service environments.
About the Role
In This Role, You Will
Design, develop, and enhance enterprise websites and digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Develop reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and content models.
Build and maintain custom AEM applications using Java, Sling Models, OSGi, JCR, HTL (Sightly), and Adobe APIs.
Develop solutions utilizing AEM Sites, Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Headless CMS capabilities.
Support content authoring and publishing processes while partnering with content and marketing teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to AEM functionality, rendering, performance, caching, and deployments.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and migration initiatives
Contribute to implementations and enhancements within AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) environments.
Support Cloud Manager pipelines and CI/CD deployment processes.
Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Assist with performance optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud-based AEM applications.
Work closely with platform and DevOps teams to promote reliable and scalable cloud solutions.
Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable applications supporting digital experience platforms.
Develop REST APIs and backend services supporting AEM and related applications.
Implement integrations between AEM and enterprise systems including CRM, analytics, personalization, authentication, and third-party SaaS platforms.
Support headless and hybrid content delivery models leveraging APIs and content services
Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing customer-facing web experiences.
Develop solutions using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG).
Optimize applications for performance, usability, SEO, and customer experience.
Support cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 to $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
