As a Enterprise Architect, you will provide end-to-end architecture leadership across workplace, data centre, network, security, database, storage, automation, and cloud services. This is an Enterprise Architect-level position requiring 12-15+ years of relevant experience, supporting our client's infrastructure and digital workplace services in Finland.

About the Team / Business Unit
This role sits within our client's Infrastructure and Digital Workplace Services organisation, delivered by Cognizant as part of an updated enterprise support model. The team is responsible for the Enterprise Architecture & Technology Strategy tower, working closely with security, service management, and business stakeholders to keep the client's technology estate resilient, secure, and future-ready across Finland.
About You:
You bring broad, cross-domain architecture expertise and are comfortable translating business, regulatory, and security requirements into coherent, enterprise-wide architecture decisions. You are experienced chairing architecture governance forums and engaging executive stakeholders on technical strategy.
Your Key Result Areas:
• Define target-state enterprise architecture, principles, standards, guardrails, and multi-year roadmaps.
• Translate business, regulatory, resilience, security, and service requirements into coherent architecture decisions.
• Maintain current-state and target-state views, capability maps, reference architectures, technology standards, and transition states.
• Ensure alignment across endpoint, identity, compute, storage, backup, network, database, middleware, public cloud, and private cloud designs.
• Chair or support architecture governance, solution reviews, design authority, exception handling, and technical risk decisions.
• Assess solution options for interoperability, scalability, availability, operability, security, compliance, cost, and technical debt.
• Guide migrations, modernisation, platform consolidation, automation, observability, FinOps, and service transition.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders, tower architects, delivery leads, security, service management, vendors, and commercial teams.
• Support RFP solutioning, estimates, assumptions, dependencies, risks, technical presentations, and executive decision material.
Required & nice to have Skills:
Must Haves:
1.) 12-15+ years of hands-on experience as a Enterprise Architect (or equivalent Enterprise Architect role) within enterprise infrastructure environments.
2.) Strong working knowledge of Enterprise and infrastructure architecture and Hybrid / multi-cloud and data centre services.
3.) Demonstrated experience in Identity, security, network and Zero Trust.
4.) Working knowledge of Integration, resilience, observability and automation.
5.) Ability to work within enterprise change, incident, problem, security, audit, and service management (ITSM) controls.
6.) Strong ownership, analytical troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and documentation discipline.
Nice to Have/ Your chance to grow

2.) Relevant Azure, AWS or Google Cloud architecture certification
3.) ITIL Foundation
