In This Role, You Will:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale web applications using Next.js and React.js.
- Build and maintain reusable, accessible, and responsive UI components using Material UI and Bootstrap 5 to ensure a consistent user experience.
- Develop and integrate Python-based backend services that support portfolio management, analytics, reporting, and advisory workflows.
- Establish engineering best practices, code review standards, and GitHub governance to ensure high-quality, maintainable software.
- Mentor and guide development teams while collaborating closely with product, business, and operations stakeholders to deliver innovative wealth management solutions.
What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Extensive experience developing enterprise web applications using Next.js and React.js, including server-side rendering, state management, and modern front-end architecture patterns.
- Strong experience building responsive and accessible user interfaces with Material UI and Bootstrap 5.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for developing APIs, backend services, data processing solutions, and application integrations.
- Expertise with GitHub, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD development workflows.
- Demonstrated experience leading software engineering teams and delivering complex technology initiatives in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of Asset and Wealth Management business processes, including portfolio management, client reporting, investment products, and financial services workflows.
- Experience implementing software quality, performance optimization, security controls, and automated testing practices for enterprise applications.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 – $186,850 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
