About the Role

As an Agile CX Program Manager, you will lead enterprise-scale Customer Experience (CX) transformation initiatives across Commercial Lending, Cards, and Payments. You will drive Agile program delivery, align cross-functional teams, and ensure strategic initiatives deliver measurable improvements in customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings expertise in Agile program management, stakeholder engagement, customer experience transformation, and financial services, with the ability to guide multiple teams through complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.


In This Role, You Will

  • Lead enterprise-scale Agile CX programs by orchestrating multi-team planning and execution across strategic customer journeys.
  • Drive adoption and consistent application of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile practices.
  • Manage end-to-end program roadmaps by aligning epics, features, and user stories to strategic business objectives and customer experience outcomes.
  • Coordinate dependencies across product, technology, operations, and business teams to support successful delivery.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and other team events.
  • Remove impediments and support teams in delivering incremental business value.
  • Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate customer experience strategies into actionable program goals.
  • Define and monitor key performance metrics related to customer experience, quality, delivery efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Support Commercial Lending, Cards, and Payments initiatives while incorporating risk, compliance, and customer-centric requirements into planning and execution.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact delivery objectives.
  • Deliver executive-level communications that clearly articulate progress, business value, milestones, and key decisions.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with technology and operations teams to improve delivery efficiency through automation, standardization, and streamlined governance practices.

Work Model

We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on business and client requirements, this role follows a hybrid work model requiring 3 days per week onsite in Plano, TX and 2 days per week remote.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience leading large-scale Agile programs within complex enterprise environments.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Experience driving Customer Experience (CX) transformation initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Proven success managing cross-functional teams across business, product, technology, and operations organizations.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Lending processes and customer journeys.
  • Experience supporting Cards and Payments initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage program roadmaps, priorities, risks, dependencies, and competing demands.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

These Will Help You Stand Out

  • Experience within Banking or Financial Services organizations.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with customer journey mapping, service design, and customer experience optimization.
  • Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements within financial services.
  • Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation or modernization initiatives.
  • Ability to leverage customer and operational insights to drive continuous improvement and business results.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is $81,337 - $136,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive compensation program based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
