For a project within the financial services sector, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to shape scalable cloud services, operating models, and technical direction for enterprise financial platforms.

In this senior role, you will drive the design and evolution of resilient cloud solutions, with a strong focus on AWS, while acting as a trusted technical partner for clients, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Design secure, resilient, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud architectures for business-critical applications
  • Define reference architectures, architecture patterns, cloud standards, and best practices
  • Translate complex business and client requirements into scalable technical solutions and support client onboarding
  • Assess application landscapes and define cloud modernization and migration strategies, including rehosting, replatforming, and refactoring
  • Ensure solutions meet key requirements for scalability, resilience, observability, performance, security, and cost optimization
  • Work with security, engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure architectural alignment and appropriate cloud controls
  • Review technical designs, identify architecture gaps, and provide technical direction across multiple teams
  • Act as a senior technical advisor and escalation point, mentor technical teams, and contribute to product direction

What You Bring

  • Senior-level experience in cloud architecture and enterprise solution design
  • Deep hands-on expertise in AWS, including compute, storage, networking, security, and managed services
  • Experience defining architecture governance, standards, patterns, and reference architectures
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and distributed architectures
  • Experience with cloud modernization, migrations, cloud tooling, and release governance
  • Ability to lead through influence and provide technical direction across multiple teams
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior executives, clients, and technical stakeholders
  • Experience in the cards and payments domain would be a strong advantage
  • Based in Poland and fluent in English
