The Opportunity
You are the link between the client and Cognizant's capability, acting as the client's connection to the broader Cognizant organisation. This is a commercial role, which entails reaching out to clients and solving their critical business problems with Cognizant's digital solutions across the Products & Resources portfolio.
- Demonstrate a deep strategic understanding of our clients' goals, ambitions and business drivers, and determine how Cognizant can be of ongoing value to them
- Act as the day-to-day client contact, building and maintaining relationships to drive account growth — owning a defined portfolio of accounts
- Proactively identify new and expansion opportunities, delivering value to customers
- Work with the delivery organisation to drive realisation of the backlog against plan within the account
- Define, evolve and deliver on the account plan
- Bring together and lead associates from across the business to deliver on RFPs and other growth opportunities
You will have a strong understanding of the key challenges in the Retail & Consumer Goods and/or Manufacturing & Logistics industries, with a proven record of selling successfully in these sectors. Our team of Solution Architects and Delivery Leaders will support you in assembling engagements across the broadest range of services, including consulting, change management, digital design, application development and technology services.

Your background
- A drive to sell, combined with a genuine commitment to delivering value to customers
- In depth understanding of how IT services firms can drive business outcomes in one or more relevant verticals, with evidence of creating and selling business strategy, broad IT services portfolios and large-scale value transformation programmes
- Industry experience in one or more of the following is preferred: e-commerce, supply chain, analytics, digital strategy, digital engineering, cloud
- Ability to guide and understand the key levers for business transformation for the customer
- Skilled at managing both client and internal Cognizant stakeholders with a target-driven mindset
- Fluent English and Dutch (both mandatory)
