This is more than an opportunity to observe consulting from the outside, you’ll become part of the team. Working alongside experienced Cognizant professionals, you’ll contribute your ideas, ask questions, and support real client engagements. Whether you’re analyzing information, structuring business problems, or helping develop recommendations, you’ll gain practical experience and valuable insight into how we solve challenges ranging from business strategy to digital transformation.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Throughout the internship, you’ll take part in assignments that support our clients’ business and data needs, while also contributing to internal initiatives and the continued development of our consulting capabilities.
• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and data requirements in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Conducting research and analysis to better understand client challenges, market trends, and potential solutions.
• Collaborating with consultants, analysts, developers, and technology specialists to help deliver solutions that connect business needs with technology.
• Supporting the preparation of client presentations, project documentation, and other deliverables.
• Participating in client meetings, workshops, and project discussions, with opportunities to contribute your own ideas and perspectives.
• Contributing to internal initiatives, knowledge sharing, and the development of new ideas and ways of working.
What you Bring
We’re looking for someone who is curious, analytical, and eager to learn. You don’t need to know everything from day one. What matters most is your willingness to contribute, collaborate, and grow.
We’d like to see:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, marketing, technology, data, engineering, economics, or a related field.
• A structured and analytical mindset, with an interest in solving business problems using data and technology.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with confidence working in an international team environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with an interest in using AI and digital tools responsibly in everyday work.
• Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English
• Exposure to or an interest in industries such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Life Sciences & Consumer Good or Retail.
Location & Working Model
This internship is based in Oslo, where you will collaborate with experienced Cognizant associates in a hybrid setup that combines onsite and remote work as needed.
Internship Details
This is a 3 month unpaid internship, starting at mid of October 2026. You’ll gain practical experience, exposure to client facing work, and access to Cognizant’s learning and development resources, designed to help you build a strong foundation for a future career in consulting or analytics. For interns who excel, the program can serve as a steppingstone toward future graduate or associate roles.
