As a Legal Research Support Assistant, you will be responsible for pre-analyzing and conducting different types of legal investigations on digital platforms. The agent of this operation must deeply understand the impact and confidentiality of the information handled, aware that any leak can lead to serious legal consequences for the employee and the company.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with legal regulations and internal policies to ensure the company operates within legal frameworks.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement in compliance processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective compliance strategies and policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to departments on compliance-related matters ensuring all operations align with legal standards.
  • Analyze and interpret complex legal documents and regulations to provide actionable insights for the company.
  • Develop training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports on compliance status and risk assessments for senior management review.
  • Implement corrective actions to address compliance issues and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to proactively adjust compliance strategies.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior across the organization.
  • Support the development of service assurance processes to enhance operational reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize compliance management tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure all compliance documentation is accurate up-to-date and easily accessible for audits.

Key Skills and Experience

  • BA/BS (“Ensino Superior”) degree completed or studying - Preferable;
  • Written communication skills in Portuguese
  • Proficient in technical English, Professional writing skills, Internal documentation. (at least Basic-Intermediate) - Mandatory;
  • Open to feedbacks;
  • Very attentive to details;
  • Ability to work with high Quality standards and quick responses to users;
  • Ability to quickly correct it’s own work and be up-to-date with processes changes;
  • Self management skills and attitude of professional maturity - do not require micromanagement from immediate superior.

Preferred Qualifications - all of above, plus:

  • Law School Graduation;
  • Experience in legal work;
  • Fluent English;
  • Training or courses involving the area of law.

Work model: onsite role
