Job Summary

Serve as a senior developer specializing in Manhattan warehouse systems to design configure and optimize supply chain solutions for consumer goods clients in a hybrid work model. Apply deep expertise in Manhattan WMOS and Manhattan Active to enhance warehouse operations support business growth and improve fulfillment outcomes across complex distribution networks.


Responsibilities

  • Design robust and scalable technical solutions using Manhattan WMOS to support complex warehouse operations and critical order fulfillment scenarios in consumer goods supply chains.
  • Configure Manhattan Active capabilities to streamline inventory management picking packing and shipping flows while improving throughput and accuracy for distribution centers.
  • Develop high quality code extensions and integrations around Manhattan platforms that comply with enterprise standards and deliver reliable performance in day to day operations.
  • Analyze functional requirements from supply chain stakeholders and translate them into detailed technical designs that align with warehouse process best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including business analysts testers and operations specialists to ensure Manhattan solutions meet operational targets and service level expectations.
  • Optimize system performance by tuning Manhattan components queries and job schedules to reduce processing times and support peak consumer goods demand cycles.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for key Manhattan processes to ensure proactive detection of incidents and quick remediation of issues impacting warehouse execution.
  • Conduct impact assessments and implement enhancements or minor features that continuously improve usability and productivity for warehouse operators and planners.
  • Participate in code reviews technical walkthroughs and knowledge sharing sessions to uphold coding quality and promote consistent development practices across the team.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation for configurations customizations and interfaces to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements without knowledge gaps.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and database teams to support deployments environment refreshes and version upgrades of Manhattan WMOS and Manhattan Active.
  • Support defect analysis and root cause identification during testing and production incidents implementing robust fixes that prevent recurrence and stabilize operations.
  • Engage with supply chain consumer goods stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and propose Manhattan capabilities that advance efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate six to nine years of hands on development experience with Manhattan WMOS including configuration customization and integration in production environments.
  • Exhibit strong practical exposure to Manhattan Active implementations with proven ability to leverage its modules to enhance warehouse workflows and decision making.
  • Apply solid understanding of end to end supply chain management processes such as inbound outbound inventory control and returns specific to consumer goods.
  • Utilize domain experience in supply chain consumer goods to design solutions that consider demand variability promotions and omnichannel fulfillment constraints.
  • Employ strong skills in relational databases and query optimization to support Manhattan data structures reporting and operational analytics.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to explain solution approaches trade offs and operational impacts in an accessible manner.
  • Adapt effectively to a hybrid work model while maintaining collaboration responsiveness and accountability across distributed teams and client contacts.
