Responsibilities : Lead Consultant - Data Architecture & Engineering (GDC IN) General Required Technical Skills: *10+ years of experience leading small to medium-sized technical teams (this includes work allocation/distribution to team members technical escalation and support representing the team in Agile ceremonies and client meetings). *Expertise in designing and implementing numerous logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments *Implementing data architectures to support a variety of data formats and structures including structured semi-structured and unstructured data *Experience with multiple full life-cycle data warehouse implementations *Understanding of data architectures required to support data integration processing *Experience with data modeling technologies such as ER/Studio ER/Win or similar *Deep experience with at least one of these from an architecture and leadership perspective: *Microsoft Azure Data Platform services including Azure Data Lake Store Azure Storage AzureSynapse Azure Data Factory Azure SQL database Logic Apps APIs *Databricks Lakehouse architectures (bronze/silver/gold) on ADLS/Delta Lake to support batch and near-real-time analytics workloads. *Demonstrated ability to quickly learn adopt and apply new technologies *Demonstrated ability to lead the partnership with onshore (US-based) teams to align on solution approach scope estimates and delivery plans. *Lead client stakeholders discussions to clarify requirements validate assumptions and confirm acceptance criteria. *Lead coordination activities across time zones and participate in onshore ceremonies (stand-ups grooming sprint planning demos and retrospectives) to ensure smooth delivery. *Lead the creation and maintenance of high-quality technical documentation runbooks and handoff artifacts to support onshore teams and client operations with minimal support *Drive the provision of clear status updates surface risks and dependencies early and proactively and play an active role alongside onshore lead in client communications and delivery governance. Requirements: Has a development and team leader background in the majority of the following areas: *Python & SQL Scripting *SQL PySpark *Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB Data Flows ExpressRoute Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) *Azure Data Factory (ADF) / Mapping Data Flows (or equivalent ETL/ELT tooling) *Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS) and/or Azure Blob Storage *Azure Databricks (Spark) and/or Databricks SQL (Lakehouse analytics) *Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Microsoft Fabric (data warehousing) *Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized deployment patterns *Delta Lake (ACID tables MERGE/UPSERT patterns schema evolution/enforcement) *Databricks Workflows and Delta Live Tables (job orchestration pipeline authoring monitoring and alerting) *Spark/Databricks performance and cost optimization (partitioning file sizing join strategies cluster sizing/autoscaling) *CI/CD for Databricks (Repos/Git integration automated deployments across dev/test/prod parameterized jobs) Other requirements: *10+ years of team lead experience working in a distributed (onshore/offshore) delivery model with strong written and verbal communication. *Ability to work in a US-based work shift (equivalent to 9AM-5PM EDT Monday-Friday). *Bachelors degree This Job Posting will expire on (insert date).
